  • trick or treaters in your neighbourhood

How about these neighbors pay for their own chocolate for their offspring. Are they not getting enough handouts, that parents need to start having their kids beg in the street?

Freaking hate brats knocking on my door for this crap and it seems to be catching on.

It's basically an apprenticeship for extortion so when the kids get older they can join Brats 4 Life.

      • You can opt for a trick instead of handing out a treat, although last year the kids had no trick to perform at all. That's disgraceful.

The thing I really hate is that you have no idea how many of them will turn up at the door, so it is impossible to budget for the amount of sweets. I cannot eat too much sweet for health reasons so what am I going to do with the leftovers?

Can understand the little ones who go out with their parents for a bit of fun at a decent hour.

It's the annoying 16,17,18+ year olds who are just rude who I hate.

Might be fun for them but it's not for me.

Although it would be fun for my dog if I let him out to attack them.

        • This is the reason why I don't allow my kids to do it.I take them to a park and buy them shit loads of lollies.

Play dress up and go for a walk, sure. But why beg strangers for lollies? It's wrong on so many levels.

It just enforces the entitled mentality that you should get something for doing nothing. Children should be taught things are earned, not given.

        • teaches them that if you don’t ask for things. then they probabaly won’t get them.

it’s a actually a lot of work for very little reward, i’d rather just buy my kid chcololate at the next supermarket run as it’s quicker and cheaper but they seem to li,e the dress up.

in my neighbourhood you leave a halloween decoration on your fence or gate if you are into trick or treat and if no decoration kids don’t seem to door knock.

Have noticed it is hard to find stock of the specially marked packs now

  • it's hard to get the kids to eat the Turkish Delight …… they should called it "some favourites"

Movie tickets do seem to make the Turkish Delight" more palatable.

    • They should just release a box called "Old Favorites" for the pensioners, and put nothing but Turkish Delight in the box and nothing else.

  • how many packs can we redeem?
    is there an upper limit?

I have bought a couple already not sure if worth to buy more
