Was looking for a Type C charger that would charge my MacBook Pro, came across this for a pretty great price. Lowest it has ever been? Doesn't have QuickCharge, and the max amperage for the Type A ports is 2.4a (although voltage scales up). You'll need to go buy an Aussie figure 8 cable for it, only the UK variation is on sale here.

USB PD Type-C Charger

USB-C Power Delivery port, output 30W (5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/2A), charges MacBook (2016 model) at full speed.

4 USB A VoltIQ ports (Non Quick-Charge port), Each port outputs 5V/2.4A max, total output of 5V/6A max. Smart circuit inside to identify the power level required for charging each connected device, making it the best choice for iPhone, smartwatch, and similar electronic devices.

Compatibility

USB-C port is compatible with all USB-C devices supporting USB PD Power Standard, such as the MacBook (2016 Model), iPad Pro, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Lumia950XL, LG G5, Meizu Pro5, Google Pixel/Pixel XL and many others.

Speedy Charging

USB-C Power Delivery port offers 30W of total power. Larger wattage power keeps your device charging at high speed, taking less time to fully charge.

US Energy Efficiency VI Rated

Improved charging efficiency and decreased no-load power consumption. Cooler charging temperatures extending product life and more environmentally friendly.

  • These are good, but its a shame about the 30W USB-C PD. Pair it with a Xiaomi ZMI 10 QB820, that can output 40W over USB-C PD.

    • What do you mean "pair it"?

      • +2

If you want to save weight:

Charge up the powerbank at 30W.
Use the powerbank to charge your devices at 40W.

        This 30W USB-C charger weighs 177g.
        An Apple 87W USB-C charger weighs 265g.

        • Oh, I see

        • This charger USB-C Power Delivery port maximum output is only 30W. How do you increase it to 40W?

        • You don't want to do this on a regular basis as you're just using up the limited charge cycles on the powerbank.

        • @Thrawn:

I am sure the power bank will be replaced before the charge cycles end

  • whats delivery time on this?

    • My grand total was $33.96, where I paid $2.60 for insurance and $5.23 for "Australia Direct Line (5-8 Business Days)" shipping. I'm claiming all of this at work though.

The normal free shipping is probably 3 or 4 weeks.

      • what kind of cable do you need to charge a usb-c / thunderbolt cable laptop? I have an XPS13 2-in-1 and it has a thunderbolt cable. I have TB16 dock that I can plug in and power/charge the laptop, plus run a bunch of screens and USB devices.

I'd like to be able to charge the laptop and not carry around too much 'stuff' when I travel.

        thanks

  • Does anyone know if the XPS 13 can run of 15V that this supplies or does it need a PD charger that supports 20V?

  • Would this work with the Lenovo X1 carbon?

  • I ordered one on 15th September and a second one on 16th September.

Second one shipped out a few days later and arrived only yesterday. Spent most of the time in Australia.

  • can the usb c pd port charge the nintendo switch?

    • It should.
Although Nintendo charger is rated 15v 2.4A.

  • -1

The blitzwolf is better than this specs wise at banggood. Similar price and has one quickcharge 3.0 port.

    • I looked at Banggood originally and didn't find any Blitzwolf multiport chargers with USB PD. Can you link?

    • Quick Charge 3.0 is completely different tech. It's good for charging QC devices quickly, but it won't power devices like Macbooks which USB-PD is capable of.

Also Tronsmart's QC 3.0 charger is superior to the Blitzwolf one

  • Hi rep, Clear,
Is there any deal for Tronsmart titan or the Qc 3 5 port normal one. It would ve really appreciated if you can ask for any.

  • Ordered one and it arrived yesterday, however the usb c port is not charging anything. Tried multiple devices. can you help with this Clear? Order Number: #4178881

    • I just received mine today… plugged it in for a sec and it seemed to put out power. I'll try it tonight probably and let you know how I go.

Did you hear back from Clear or anything?

      • mine worked for a few minutes then never again. Nope didnt hear back from clear. trying to chase it up with the support email now

        • recieved this from their tech support email:

          "Dear Tim
Can you please send us the video to show us the problem ? after confirm we will refund you $15 and you do not have to send it back
          Best regards
          Elaine "

not sure i want $15 when it cost $23USD to get here and not work

  • Can anyone suggest a higher wattage version which will fast charge the macbook pro?

  • Will this fast charge an iPhone 8?

    • IP8 charges at 5v 1.5A. so it should if you have the correct cable
