  • For those who TLDR'd the site:

    Premium WordPress multilingual plugin included*.

*For Option #1 below only. The plugin is worth more than A$200, lifetime free update.

Option#1 Set up a secondary website
Like our website, most English web pages and a few core plugins are translated into Chinese. All translated pages can have their unique titles, meta descriptions and other information for the best SEO benefit if set appropriately. Biggest investment of time and money for highest accuracy and professionalism.

That is quite a few hoops to jump through to get something "free". Not giving a neg but I don't see this as much of a deal.

    • +1

We are sorry this is not some freebie you may be after and we would love to hear your opinion regarding what kind of deal is a deal in your eyes in this matter. What we are striving to do is to provide better value to our customers and we think this deal can do so, to the ones who really need their website translated to Chinese in full.

Option#2 and #3 won't require a plugin of such, so it is not included and it is clearly stated in the description that it is required and included for full website translation. Plus, if someone is after other languages which we don't provide as our specialty is Chinese translation, they can also use this plugin once we install it on their website.

From our research and our work experience, no agency/Chinese translator is making such an offer if you ask them to translate your website. In most cases they would tabulate website information into two columns, one column for the original English, the other columns for the translators to put their translations in. When the translations are returned (perhaps with proofreading too), translations are uploaded by developers, before being proofed again by the translator. I think it is not difficult for everyone to realise how much extra or redundant work is involved and surely customers need to pay for it.

By Translating directly with the plugin, all formats of all pages can be maintained and the process becomes much more efficient and most importantly, it is a huge saving, let alone our prices are already directly from our NAATI accredited in-house translators.

      • Fair enough. In hindsight, I have a very neutral opinion of the whole thing and little chance of personal or business use of the service. In light of this I retract my hastily offered opinion on a deal that doesn't apply to me.
