04/06/2016 was the last time this deal was posted. Thanks op for posting again. Good value wallet for $10 bucks.

    • Definitely good value - pretty sure I got one at that time and it's still going strong. So I don't need a new wallet but brought one anyway.

  • also may be 5% addition discount with coupon code works in deal? i dont know for sure thats why i didnt mention in post

    • Code P5OZZIE needs a minimum $30 spend.

      • ordered 4 for $37.96 with the above code

        • Good move.

Got mine last time and its a great wallet!

    • One thing I don't like is the button on Coin pocket which could break easily. Can you comment about yours on this please? Thanks

      • +2

I dont use the coin compartment and forgot it was there… had to check my wallet to make sure it was the same one and it is.

      • +2

I purchased 4 at the time. Gave 2 as a gift to my friends.
I am using 1 myself from more than a year now. Similar to this one but no zip inside

Wallet is pretty good. The button outside & in coin pocket are still intact. Definitely worth buying it. My friends still using them as well. Definitely worth $10.

      • i have a wallet which is of a similiar design. i've had it since 1994 and the button stud on the coin pocket is still good. what is starting to go is the leather especially the coin pocket where it's losing its shape.

      • +1

        Coin storage 101.

In your pocket, or in your purse.

would be a nice xmas gift

    • It is. When I bought, I live close to the seller therefore, picked them up.
The only thing i would say it comes with a plain white box. You may need to purchase a separate cover for it if it is a gift.

      • it comes in a white box, is it ?

        • Yes, comes in a white box like this

        • @usmanyousaf: thanks

        • @usmanyousaf: didn't receive them in a box, unfortunately

        • @spk:
That is bit of unfortunate mate…When I bought them, I bought 4 at the time and everyone was in a white box. Not sure why they are not in box this time.

I hope you like the build & quality of the wallet atleast.

        • +1

          @usmanyousaf: absolutely
          Can't ask more for $10.

Even I ordered 4 of them. Sad it didn't come in a box. Trying to search for boxes now on eBay :)

        • @spk: Perhaps The Reject Shop? Or just Christmas wrapping paper?

        • +1

@PJC: I'll give it a try at the reject shop. Thanks for the suggestion

        • @spk: What irks me is Store Rep OP knew you sought Christmas gifts and also knew you anticipated boxes, but maintained silence.

        • +1

@PJC: yeah even I was hoping that they'll come in boxes based on the past experience + store rep didn't say otherwise

        • @spk: Offering to mail you 4 boxes would indeed be an encouraging goodwill gesture.

        • +1

@PJC: i have sent a PM to OP. I'll wait and see

        • @spk: hello. I have responded to the mail please respond. Thank you

        • +1

@usmanyousaf: hello Usman. the reason I do not send boxes because it will make posting cost out of budget as it will not fit in an envelop and have to send it as parcel post which cost around $8 vs $2 for envelop. I can happily give away as many boxes as someone wants for a free pick up from my address as I normally end up not using it as all and they are very nicely built.

        • +1

@Firstchoice store: thanks OP. replied back with shipping address. Much appreciated mate.

  • +2

A true ozbargainer would make an offer below the discounted price……

  • Thanks, I was needing a new wallet!

Thanks. Spent my last $10 on this wallet and now I have no money to put in it.

I am a bit of a zip-man on my notes section of the wallet.
Also just for those concerned about RFID protection, it seems a bit of a false need:
    https://www.csoonline.com/article/3199009/security/why-you-d…

Also have a look on Etsy for the homemade deals:
    https://www.etsy.com/market/full_grain_wallet

Also not so slim, but super tough is a "100% Full-grain boot Leather" wallet with a 100 year warranty and $100 USD cost, (if that is your thing.)

      The csoonline article is wrong.
"First and foremost, does your credit card actually have an RFID transmitter? The vast majority does not." - actually most of us do have these types of credit cards.
Any card with the function of tap and go has an RFID transmitter-"PayPass, Blink, PayWave, Express Pay"

      • I still think it is an unnecessary requirement as noted in the articles below: "In other countries, the percentage of contactless cards is much higher, according to Roger Grimes, a computer security expert. Still, he says you probably don't need to buy an RFID-blocking wallet.

"There's probably hundreds of millions of financial crimes being done every year and so far zero, real life RFID crime," he says."

        http://www.npr.org/sections/alltechconsidered/2017/07/04/535…

Also: the article also makes similar claims.

        http://www.slate.com/articles/life/travel_explainer/2015/08/…

        Nothing on https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/ either.

In a paranoid society, more fear in this area is unfounded. If the experts make it clear it is not happening, I'll follow them.

        • Or maybe because there is so much RFID blockers as its a very cheap addition as shown in numerous ozbargain posts, then theres no point for criminals to go down this path of crime.
Just like once upon a time there were skimming fake atms.

  • Out of stock :(

  • +1

sold out early guys. I have new stock coming in and will post bargain again for this wallet. unill then I can offer 50% on RFID wallets if it is ok to change deal here on Ozbargain?

  • ok

  • $29.99 -> $19.99 is not 50% off
    It’s 33.33% off

    • +6

      I'd argue $7.00 -> $19.99 is not 50% off either

      • Hmmmm!

Ive got a bogesi wallet https://m.aliexpress.com/s/item/32701818490.html?spm=a2g0n.s…. really good quality and looks really nice. Would highly recommend

    • +2

      Cheers gave this a shot

  • the RFID blocking wallets are pretty poor quality ,mine started falling apart after a couple of months, actually quite dubious as to whether or not it was real RFID blocking

    • +1

      real RFID blocking

lol, RFID blocking is just aluminium foil.

      • yeah i've purchased from this seller before they dont even use alfoil, it's really cheap quality

      • is that ture?

  • I'm still using these wallets from back in the day: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/114985

    • +2

My Marks and Spencer still going strong from 07!

  • Happy to grab one of these for $20 off, I had previously got a small RFID card wallet and its too small to be useful. This should be perfect to replace my ageing leather wallie.

  • Why is it so hard to find a wallet that has a slot for a card outside? I use it for my Opal card. The one I got from The Mens Shop a few years back was perfect, but they're gone now. :(

    • I tried very hard online last year and I was getting nowhere. Then I went to Paddy's Market and the first stall I visited had what I want for $5. The outside slot has mesh and I never need to take the card out.

      • Mesh? Is it made of good leather?

        • It's a zip-up coin/key purse with a key-ring, that outer slot with mesh for my Opal card, and another zipped compartment for cards. The leather is genuine but not the smoothest.

  • Mine arrived a few days ago and it stinks. I have soaked it in water for 24 hours and it still stinks.

    • Probably genuine leather ;😉
