I've tried many of these bulbs and they tend to flicker after 1-2 weeks of use. Doesn't seem to be canbus friendly, not worth $0.20 imo

    • would you be able to recommend a good one from ebay then please? preferably shipped from australia.

        Look for Philips ones.
I normally get 12958 model for interior lights and the others for external.
There is a reseller from Melbourne who put decent price.

if you have European cars which need canbus for external, you need to find canbus compatible model (not Philips tho. unless you want to do some work splicing the cables)

        • Wow they're significantly more expensive :S I want to replace my 2005 corolla's parking lights. Pretty sure it isn't canbus.

@CVonC: if you dont need white LED [5000-6500K], the blue coloured Philips W5W / T10 are quite and match quite nicely with normal halogen headlights.

But if you are using 6000K xenon , the Philips ultinon 6000k is a great match. Had it on my CX9 before.

Canbus-compatible LED bulbs have a resistor that gets incredibly hot to the point where the solder melts, and the LEDs start to flicker. The only way to solve this problem is not to use LEDs, or find a way to disable Canbus.

One per account is pointless when you would normally purchase multiple so the colour temp will match. Had to create two accounts.

On AliExpress, you can get like a 10 pack and they work out cheaper.

Yeah but Zapals, you know the slowest shipper in the known universe? Worst support ever?

They will come to regret messing me around on my R.Pi - it was a clusterfffffff and I can't DIS-recommend them more.
