Just fo the fun of it… Do they have any "closed" cans in stock?

    • Hi JV

  • Our Amart sports in Preston only just opened and is already changed to Rebel sports! What's the story?

    • They finally decided to use 1 brand name rather than 2 when SRG bought them both out…. cost saving really as they ran 2 sets of head office staff in buying and management.
Feeling the need to stop overcharging us as they have always had a niche in the sporting market but now decathon is coming they need to smarten up.

Kinda like how eBay is having all these deals as Amazon is coming. (Rebels also probably feeling pressure from Amazon too)

      • Yes, I did some research and discovered that. I always thought Amart furniture owned Amart sports, especially when ours opened opposite each other at the same time. Didn't know Amart sports was owned by the same group as Rebel until now.

        • Yea…. back a few years, Amart was mainly Melb and we had Rebels in Sydney.
When they were both bought out, it became a mix of both with Rebels being in shopping centers like Westfields, whilst Amart was more targeted towards big open areas with big stores.

Guess that didn't work out for them too well lol

I love this basketball. It is amazing and so good. Thanks for providing it so I could buy it. I am enjoying it a lot. It changed my life and is the 3rd basketball I have bought from rebel in the last 2 months because I needed another one for drills and I bought one for my sister as well.

This review of the basketball is a bit much…changed your life? Really??

Thanks for this, was waiting for a discount on the Aus Open balls for a while since the last deal!

  • Any racket deals mate?

Awesome thanks! Better than the 25-30% off sales.

I played with these when the first came out and lasted 4 2 hour sessions. Now they only last 3 2hour sessions. Drop in durability.

Maybe you've just gotten stronger and that extra power you're exerting wears them down quicker? 💪

      • haha I wish, I wish

Cashrewards also giving 3.5% for Rebel at the moment.

  • Has anyone tried to get staff in store to redeem a recently expired gift card?

  • Can anyone confirm if the tennis balls are green or yellow ones?

  • I had a look at the basketball. It doesn't seem to bounce as well as the other balls in the store - you really have to work to keep it bouncing. But maybe that is the way it's supposed to be. I passed on it.

  • Use the Amex offer to get $15 off $60 spend at Rebel. That brings the tennis balls down to $1.33 per ball or $5.33 per can. Amex part of the offer means it would require you to buy 9 cans in a single purchase.
