  • still compare the prices.
I'm looking for a Bosch dishwasher (their eBay doesn't have the model i want)
but the model similar is $1299 on the eBay page and $1174 on the good guys website. You can also haggle 10% in store usually. I'd also have to pay $50 for delivery if I bought on eBay, but if I bought in store I'd just pick it up.

    • you can choose pickup option in ebay, no delivery charge.

So they've pushed the OLED C7 55' back to $3200. Hasn't been marked at that price for a while.

    • It's strange seeing any tv go up in price considering how much they drop throughout the year. Both JB/TGG sites have increased the price by about $200 for the C7 55". I paid $2,276.93 inc postage from Appliance Central when they had the 15% off on ebay. The price should drop even more leading up xmas.

the AUD has been crashing this past week maybe around 5% and still going down so probably imports prices will be adjusted. Though they shouldn's really do that as the stock was already imported at a fixed price.

        • I think they simply did it for the ebay sale.

This is crap, it won't work for me.

Hmm how odd. I'm still getting the error but I guess I'll just keep trying cheers.

        • @chromium: I had the same issue trying to buy a $4k 4k 65OLED, paypal was the problem. paypal couldn't even fix it for me just said their automated systems wont let it go through so no dice.

  • I have bought my last 3 Samsung TVs from the Good Guys using this deal. 65inch, 40inch and 32inch over the last 2 years. Oh and my Samsung French Door Fridge!!

    • Was the fridge a recent purchase? Did Samsung honour the cashback when purchased through eBay?

      • No fridge was about 18 months back and straight 20% off was still the best deal at the time by about $600.

  • Hisense 65n7 was 2k last 20% sale and now it’s 2.3k?

  • how likely is it that Ebay will host TGG 20% in the next 2 months? want to claim TRS but this just falls short

  • Whats a good airconditioner for a small room ?

  • Your all right about the Hisense 55N7 its the new series with the ULED all reviews have been very well received with most saying it is just below OLED quality .
The price shown as recommended even on Harvey Norman is $2100 to $2499 with the 50N7 being about $1499.
Could be the best bargain off the year.
Pulled pin and bought a 55N7 but have to get delivered as only Geelong have any stock left.

  • No mention of the Bosch $200 cashback promo so I called Bosch promotions who advised that TGG eBay store is a participating dealer so all good and I grabbed the Bosch PVS875FB1E

TGG always seem to not ever have stock for click N collect on the NEW NUTRIBULLET N17-1007M RX 1700W 10 Piece Set.

I did a click N collect pick a store and all out of stock within 30klms. Now the price (without the 20% off)is the same as say Binglee ebay store with $10 postage, but the postage is $35.00 from TGG ebay store. I might as well go to Harvey Normans bricks and mortar store, he is selling for $1 less.

I did the ring around of TGG stores and they all have stock. I get the same they have stock from TGG website.

I sent off an email to TGG ebay trying to find out why? No reply, and I do not expect a reply.

  • Thanks, just picked up a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 for $733.60. Not the cheapest price ever, but cheaper than any other local stock I could find.

  • First time post guys so go easy!

I just went to my local Officeworks and they honored price matching on this, so picked up a Google Home for $151. Might be worth trying it to get an extra 5% off.

  • Just be careful with TGG, if it is something that you want in a hurry. I bought a Cooktop for a kitchen that is awaiting design. It showed as in stock but for delivery only. A few days after buying it I was advised that it was out of stock, and on back-order. 4 weeks later and still waiting. I can't do my kitchen design until I am sure that I have it. If an item is in stock for pick up, then it should be ok.

Fisher & Paykel are running a free Dishwasher DishDrawer 5 year extended manufacturer’s warranty promotion for the purchase period: 1/11/17 - 31/1/18.

Add the 20% GoodGuys Ebay discount and it’s a fair deal, imo.

E.g. The latest model top of the line, stainless steel F&P DD60DCX9 is $1899 RRP.

It’s $1599 from GoodGuys on-line and in store.

Apply the 20% discount when purchasing via the GoodGuysAustralia Ebay store, and that’s only $1279, which is $20 less than a factory 2nd equivalent from 2nds world.

When you factor in the free 5 year manufacturer’s warranty which is the equivalent of purchasing +3 year extended warranty, then you’re effectively purchasing this new top of the line F&P stainless steel double drawer dishwasher for about $1k. That’s cheap imo.

I have contacted F&P directly and they have confirmed that the 5 year manufacturer’s extended warranty promotion also applies when purchasing from the Good Guys Australia ebay store.

Note that the 5 year extended warranty is not valid if it’s a factory 2nd.

Just curious has anyone else found that their local TGG despite ACTUALLY HAVING an item INSTOCK - shows up if you try to select 'pickup' option via Ebay as 'Out of stock'?

I've had this occur across multiple TGG Ebay promos via my local TGG (Coffs Harbour) - actually tried to ask staff member why this might be - he didn't provide any clarification at all.

At first I thought perhaps it was an inventory system error (Ebay-HO not reading local store stock levels correctly) but now I suspect local TGG not wanting to be involved in sale at lower sales margin? Dunno…but seems curious and like one's being 'railroaded' into accepting sales facilitated via TGG HO by post only when local stock IS available.

    Anyone else notice this?

  • I purchased a washer machine to pick up in store. However, I changed my mind and want to cancel the order and receive a refund. eBay says the item has to be returned in store, but who actually issues the refund? eBay or TGG? I've contacted both but haven't heard back yet.

Also this will be a refund and not store credit correct?

    • +1

i bought a fridge on their previous 15% ebay deal, i didnt managed to get it delivered as my house wasnt ready, and in the end, i cancelled the order (via the assigned store) and the refund went back to the original payment (paypal)

  • Anyone able to check out successfully? I check out then I can't access the order details, says "Order service temporatily unavailabe or invalid parameters in the request URL"

It shows up in my order history without any details, I don't get an email from eBay or Paypal at all then eventually the order is cancelled saying "Your payment didn't go through, so the order was cancelled. Please pay for this item again."

I called eBay and they said it's an issue with the Good Guys store, ongoing maintenance issues or something? They said order it later at full price and they will refund me the difference that the 20% code would have saved.

  • anyone know if can you claim cashback for fisher paykel when buying from ebay?
