You can follow all the deals and view previous deals/discussions via the OzBargain Click Frenzy 2017 Sales & Promotions page and discuss the event in general below.

    • Congrats

    • congrats!

you think only people on ozbargain get these kind of deals?

  • Gone!

  • Haha… :(

  • sold out already! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • TV Sold out!

  • GG missed the last 5 in the code, probably cost me

    • +1

When I saw that triple 5, I knew plenty of people would get tripped up (most of the other codes had only double digits)

  • +2

    DAMN
Congratulations to everyone who scored. I am happy as long as it was all won within the Ozbargain community :)

  • +2

    I'm sad now

    • +1

      Me 2 :(
Didnt even know click frenzy was on

  • +1

I was logged in to paypal and still got the securely logging you in after hitting complete order.

    • Yep. Same. It's messed up.

  • Load of crap

  • WOW does it mean there was more than 1?

  • wait, am i reading it right. it says 65 inch on the page.

  • +2

    https://i.imgur.com/FpdyzuA.png

if anyone is interested in knowing how many there were

    • +1

OH wow thats a fair few!

    • +1

Do you think there was 75?

      • +1

No way they had $180,000 worth of TV's to give away.

        • Sounds like a lot. I can't read code so …..?

    • +1

      edit:
doesnt mean you secured it if you got it as i highly doubt they have 75 tvs, so they're probably going to do a random raffle based on the first 75 orders or something.

      just a guess

    • Maybe they want you to think that! lol They would have to look it up on the server end rather than have it coded/seen on the browser end otherwise people would hack it

      • They're a Shopify store so they don't have control of the software and AFAIK can't fake data - if it says 75 the store probably accepted 75 orders. Of course whether they can fulfil 75 TVs is another matter.

        • it might be real data (ie. in the browser code) but as to what it is actually used for, who knows.

    • There's no way they had 75 TVs.

I think they set it to 75 (or a random high number) in case someone checked it out without the promotion code and paid the full amount (by accident or not). But the promotion code could only be used once.

  • This is what losing looks like:
    1 & 2

  • +7

Now time to go chill out with some quality chill music and bring my heart rate back down from where it got to when I thought I had got a TV in time.

  • +1

There is no way there was 75

  • +1

Paypal seems to be the bottleneck. Was really slow again as others report. I have the one-touch thing enabled as well (am sure the rest of you do too), so I don't have to log in or anything. Just kept spinning.

Was the first to post that I didn't get it above, so perhaps I wasn't too far off from getting one. Haha. Have a good one everyone. The manual refreshing is hell on the hand, but I think it's a better play than several auto-refresh windows.

    • +1

macro on mouse, tip for the future.

    • +1

same. Paypal login took roughy 5-8 seconds to do it's thing. That 5 seconds is crucial for checkout.

What browser did people use? I was using 64-bit cyberfox. Maybe Chrome is faster…

      • I used Chrome. Usually use Safari, but Chrome seems faster.

Note that there are ways to "hack" this without having to play fairly, and I suspect that some may have done this (not accusing the people here). One could scan the html source code for changes and/or a link to the click frenzy store, and then use that to open both the store window and the banner automatically.

If you know what you're doing, it's doable.

      • Your Internet speed is a bigger factor than your computer/browser.

        • 50mbit fiber to the home here :)

  • +1

Now bring on Ebay's OMG-Amazon-Launched megasale!

  • +1

Man, I'm late to the party… work got in the way :(

    What have I missed? Everything?!

    • +2

you missed the opportunity to waste an hour of your life

  • +2

God damn. Got to the final stage of PayPal checkout, clicked "Pay Now", circle kept spinning and gone :(

Congratulations to everyone who got something though!

    • +1

That stupid paypal spinning circle is gonna haunt our dreams.

  • Thought I had a chance then.
Managed to log into Paypal and was able to hit the final pay button.
It had a think for about 5 seconds then spat me out.

  • I saved time (and effectively money) by not bothering with the test-your-reflexes and internet connection competition that is Click Frenzy!
They did live up to their name and got people to click lots and cause a frenzy. As to real savings compared to other sales during the year well…

  • Wtf I refreshed and watched for whole 30 minutes and I never even saw it.

    • Do you have adblock or do not track enabled? And are you looking at the bottom of the right section?

      • I was looking everywhere. Don't tell me adblock stopped it ffs

        • You need to turn adblock off, bad luck mate

  • +1

Still had window open and realising now it says 65 inch for $1. Was there a bonus prize or a typo?

    • +1

Maybe it was dodgy Viagra related popup from one of those "other" sites! ;-) lol

      • +1

I've got screenshot. Definitely says 65 inch but I think it said 55 inch when trying to check out. A bit sloppy though to get both prize and size wrong on the banner! Unless they upgraded it last second.

        • Actually, the banner got cut off so it actually said $10 when I inspected element to view original image. Still said 65 inch though.

    • +1

had that as well, guessing a typo. got into the checkout page and it said 55 inch

  • +2

    WOOHOO I scored a TV.

Also then got a cancellation email as apparently my order was against their terms. Bullshit!

    I’m complaining to them.

    • +1

      That's terrible. What term?

    • +1

Prob they only had 1 TV, so if 5 people ended up scoring the deal, 4 will get rejected for violating the terms…lol

      • +1

Oh the we sold too many TVs term. Shocking if true!

    • Which terms? Had you already won a prize?

      • +2

It seems he/she already won the Fitbit.

        • Yep, looking back at their last post in this discussion they got a fitbit which means that by getting a second item they are indeed breaching the terms and conditions

        • @lilstevie: I'll have it! :-)

        • @lilstevie:

Didn’t realise you couldn’t win more than one deal. Couldn’t find that in the terms.

I found under “Links and Advertising” which doesn’t even seem like the right section anyway, it says one item per household. But it’s not clear whether it’s 1 per deal/coupon code or 1 item of all the deals TV, Drone etc.

  • So just wondering, if I got the "confirmation - pending review email," and have not received any cancellation email, will my order be likely to go through. Or is the order still subject to availability?

    • Also got this, hoping for the best!

  • I guess given they only have a few of each item, it is not hard to check if people have 'won' other items.

  • When I click on my order status, it says "Your order is confirmed. We've accepted your order, and we're getting it ready. Come back to this page for updates on your order status."

Does this mean that my order has been reviewed and confirmed, and just waiting for shipment? Or just the fact they have taken my order, but they still gotta review it?

    • That is what I would assume. Just waiting on shipment now.

I got a google home and my status is still unfulfilled.

    • My order status used to be like your above one. However, it changed to this one below. Wondering if anyone gets the same status.

      "Your order is pending
We’ve received your order, and our compliance team is reviewing it to ensure all meets our terms and conditions. Come back to this page for updates on your order status."

  • My gift card has been shipped. The phrasing of the email sounds a bit worrying though, does it mean that if you signed up to newsletter on a different email than you used for click frenzy store account, you won't get your price? Who knows.

    Congratulations.
We have verified your subscription to Click Frenzy and your parcel is on its way. Enjoy and please share the news using #clickfrenzy so we can keep these spectacular deals going.
    Cheers,
    The Click Frenzy Team

  • If you are not subscribed to their email newsletter - it's pretty clear in the terms that you are not eligible for the prize so they will check the email of your CF Store account against their subscribers.

Anyone got any notifications about an item other than gift cards?

    • I don't have conditions in front of me, but I interpreted it that you'd need to be a subscriber to get the clues. Keeping in mind that people have multiple emails addresses, I might be a subscriber on a different address for example.

Either way, if that's the case (and if signing up for the store account didn't automatically subscribe you) I'm sure many people will be caught out.

      • The Site and all of the products sold via the Site are only available to registered Click Frenzy subscribers and only available while stocks last. To be a registered Click Frenzy subscriber, you must have completed the registration at www.clickfrenzy.com.au and any purchase made must use the subscribed email address as the contact. Click Frenzy will use the contact email to confirm subscription - any purchase attempts made by non-registered subscribers will be cancelled and monies refunded.

I thought this is pretty straight forward that you need to be subbed? If anyone hasn't done so, you should go ahead and do it ASAP I would say.

        • That's remarkably straight forward. I clearly didn't read the full terms and conditions. If they enforce it, I still think people will get caught out though.

The issue now is, do you subscribe if you are not sure if you subscribed through that link earlier? Will that potentially override already existing subscription with the current date (as which point they might cancel prize due to subscribing after purchase)? ;)

        • @fruxo:

Yeh, we were discussing this very thing at work today. I think to be safe, just subscribe if you havent, then pray.

  • +1

Just a heads up, my brother received a shipping confirmation from Click Frenzy for his iPad just before. He said he also received an email from "Temando" with insurance details (for the shipment).

  • +1

    From their Facebook:

Update on the Click Frenzy Go Wild deals: We have been shipping bargains of a lifetime all week and continuing to work through. Reinforcements have been brought in. All legitimate orders will be confirmed and shipped within the coming days, if not received already. We're more than halfway through but it takes time for our compliance team to verify subscribers and weed out scammers (eg. Fake accounts, customers trying to cheat to obtain multiple orders using false IDs, etc.) We apologise for the time it takes but this is necessary to ensure only genuine customers complying with the terms and conditions receive orders.

  • Just got my Myer $200 Giftcard. Thanks CF :)

  • About a week ago I got confirmation mine was shipped. Based on tracking it should be here early next week. Google home BTW

    • +1

Im a little confused by the way the tracking of the package works. When i put in the cosignment number and postcode on http://www.alliedexpress.com.au/ it says "The specified job was not found on postcode(xxxx) Please check with sender" What am i doing wrong?? Also my tracking number is in the format of "TEMxxxxxx" where xxxxxx are a string of numbers

      • I got my tracking number off the click frenzy store order. When you click on it, it should take you to another page - temando (my tracking number is just numbers). From there I have three status updates.
        Awaiting pick up
        Picked up
Your parcel is currently in transit between our 'Melbourne' and 'Capricorn Coast' depots.

      • I have the exact same situation too. Hoping it gets resolved, did you try contacting them?

    • +1

I ordered a google home as well. Still says fulfillment status is "Unfulfilled." :(

      • same here! :( hopefully mine ships sooner or later

        • +1

          me too :'(

  • I typed the wrong address in my order so I emailed their customer service and after taking my order number they never got back to me. That was weeks ago. So today I went out to their offices in Mount Waverley and spoke to them. Apparently I had been flagged because I'm not subscribed and they can't send me the Google Home. There's "nothing they can do" because it's in their terms.
Word of advice: check if you're subscribed!!!

  • +1

My order is still on pending, is it just me?

    • mines still pending :(

  • Click Frenzy canceled my Xbox order today stating "it was canceled because it contravenes the Click Frenzy store terms and conditions. Note that the terms of the sales state that there is only one item per household or per user. and your payment has been refunded." Must've been because I won the Xbox then I won the $100 Myer Gift Card for $1 which was canceled straight away. Now the Xbox has been canceled that I won first so I have nothing. Wasn't aware of the 1 item per household policy until the second item was canceled.

  • Woke up to this email this morning :

    Your order has been cancelled
Order was canceled because it contravenes the Click Frenzy store terms and conditions. Note that the terms of the sales state that there is only one item per household or per user. and your payment has been refunded.

Only reason I can see me being in violation of the Terms is that myself and friends had a get-together at my house to use my NBN and each have a go, we all only won one prize each and they're being shipped to our respective houses, but I think because all of the orders came from the same network they'll say it all falls under the "one per household" category unfortunately.

    • That's the first I've heard of them restricting by IP. Did everyone get their prizes cancelled then? How many prizes in total are we talking about?

      • 4 people total, all with our own names, paypals, emails, phone numbers, addresses

        • All prizes cancelled? You should definitely call and ask why your prize was cancelled. Doubtful it would lead to anything, but would be interesting to hear what reason they give if nothing else, ie if they bring up the multiple users on same IP. Which technically doesn't breach conditions, although it might be a hard one to sell.

        • @fruxo: yeah all of us got cancellation emails this morning, I've emailed them explaining the situation (they've replied and said they'll get back to me), might give them a call if nothing comes of it

        • @Stew-y: do you happen to have their phone number? because when I called them using the number on their facebook page, it went straight to the voicemail.

        • @ltvo3: hmm i assumed it was the one on their facebook? not sure, but yeah tons of people are saying it just goes to voicemail

        • yea goes straight to voicemail with a promise youll get a call back which never happens.

        • @Ihaveadog: Call up and say you are looking to advertise in the upcoming click frenzy. They will call you back.

        • have you tried it? does it actually work?

    • +1

      Same here.

  • My prize is still pending
