Works out way cheaper to buy from the UK:

    Live 9 Standard ~$339
    Live 9 Suite ~$589

    • Nice!

Highly recommend that site - I bought the Suite upgrade from Lite, and they even matched a generic £20 off first order from a competing UK site (https://www.bopdj.com/) so ended up being £289 ($494) after VAT removal, worth trying your luck and shooting them an email prior to buying!

        • I just registered to check because I was skeptical they'd remove VAT on checkout, but they definitely do. This is the real bargain - thanks for the heads up!

last year i did a free 10 week course at tafe to learn ableton. highly recommended if you have any interest. teachers are cool, class is low pressure, so no problem if you are an absolute beginner or looking to brush up your skills, and you can be as lazy as you want and just enjoy it. i had never touched it before i went, barely touched it since, but now i can still mess about and try to make something if i want. i think they reduced it to a 5 week course, twice a week

and it was absolutely free, and with an offer purchase the full version for half price

Ah would love to know if there is something similar in Brisbane!

Same. I would be putting my hand up for that like a politician voting to increasing their own pay.
