    Really?

  • Related items shows a plethora of similarly spec'd and priced screwdrivers.

    • Yes, but not with a lithium battery

      • they all using lithium battery this day right ? i mean what else can it be ?

        • I saw some cordless screw drivers that use 4xAA battery. I suppose you can use whatever AA batteries you want, though at your cost.

        • @froodh: i dont see any "Related items" using AA batteries, personally i like rechargeable AA batteries more, easy replacement and lower cost to replace.
but in theory 4xAA battery is not powerful enough as a drilling tool, it only can be used as screwdriver.

  • Noice Garry

  • Am in the market for a cordless screwdriver - how does this one compare to Bunnings offerings (in particular the ones with a 2 position / rotating handle)?

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/our-range/tools/power-tools/cord…

    • this one looks very basic

a few days ago there was one with the autoloader cylinder but really, its overcomplicating things

they all do the job i reckon

    • Personally I would just get it from Bunnings. If you're unhappy you can always take it back.

    • Thanks guys - will go with a Bunnings one

    • I just bought the bunnings xu1 for 17 bucks and it doesn't have a chuck for drill bits like this post seems to, and it spins kind of wonky, making it more likely to slip off the screw and burr it, aswell as frustrate you.

The rotating handle seems cool on my bunnings one but I don't see it making any real difference

  • I would get this one. I am.

I got one from Bunnings a couple of years ago (Flashcell). Works well but after a while doesn't hold charge. I reckon that I will replace it every year or two.
