Joondalup, WA has around 25 in stock.
    Got one, thanks.

The problem with Bunnings is that somehow I always managed to spent over an hour wandering around…

    • +7

go to bunnos for a $48 pressure washer.

Got 4 snags and spent $300

      • +1

Ha. I literally just got back from buying this, on a weekday, and almost stopped and bought some snags.

    • +4

The problem with Bunnings is that if I forgot to not wearing read jumper/t-shirt and walk around the place it is guaranteed that the elders will ask me for directions and product information.

and 9 out of 10 times I will provide better answer than the actually Bunnings employees

      • That wouldn't be hard…

      • +1

Same thing happened to me! Was wearing a red T-shirt and blue jeans, had 3 people stop me and ask for help.

      • Sorry for all my typos, 'read' means 'red' and 'actually' means 'actual'

  • +3

download the manual for ozito, realize the max flow was 6.8 l/min, which is bit better than the one from aldi

  • Just picked one up from my local Bunnings. Plenty in stock and unsurprisingly still ticketed at $79. Will give it a whirl on the weekend and test it on some dirty concrete.

    • +1

Please let us know what you think after giving it a whirl.

  • +1

    No band 28, no deal

    • For super speed water wastage?

      • Reduces blackspots, greater coverage.

  • No extension hose available at my local Bunnings. Anyone got luck finding a hose for it?

    • It's a just a regular water pressure hose with 1/4". Probably the most common type along with the Karcher K series M22 connectors.

If you just want a cheap (but stiff) hose try AliExpress or eBay. Want some decent and flexible then be prepared to pay much more

  • What kind of soap to you use in these? Normal car cleaning ones for the car, or do I need special stuff?

    • Probably snow foam shampoos work better but any wash will work. Results will vary. Mixing 1 part shampoo with 9 parts warm water is a good starting point

  • +1

Thanks OP. Just picked up one. 8 left in stock at my local store.

  • Good Price! Had 1 of this and broke in 3 months. Should I get it again?

    • +1

Return it (and get refund of the higher price) as its under warranty and get a new one @ $48

    • +1

      3 year replacement warranty

  • +3

Thanks OP, great for water fights

  • Bunnings will probably not have click and collect as a lot of their sales are from people who walk in with one thing in mind and walk out with two or three items !! Add on sales!!

    • Just as them to reserve one for you at the front counter (Darwin) here btw.

  • Would this level of pressure damage car paint?

    • +2

lol no these wouldn't break the skin off a rice pudding as they say….

      • Mate I don't know how you make your rice puddings but I've broken skin getting my hand too close to the gun

Definitely safe for clearcoat but common sense should always apply

Seems to sit nicely on the middle - low end. So quite safe.

    • +2

Spend a minute and read up a fraction. It's only been asked 4 times already..

  • You guys reckon this will be enough PSI for car washing? I'd love to wash my car at home from now on instead of going to those self service car washes.

    • Yes. I've made several comments above which might help. Even a professional detailer could get away with this psi level

  • +1

Got one from Bunnings Armadale WA plenty left middle of main isle

I actually bought this about couple of months ago in a combo deal with the wet vacuum cleaner. I have to say I was surprised how good both of them are.

It is a very decent washer to have around the house to wash car and smaller cleaning purposes.
it doesn't have wheels but what do you expect for that price.
Also have 3 years of warranty so nothing to loose if it break.

    • Not to mention Bunnings has a very flexible change-of-mind warranty. You really can't be unsatisfied with this deal unless you aren't prepared to make, at worst, two trips to the store.

  • Anyone found any in Adelaide - none at Windsor Gardens or Kent Town

    • Bunnings Prospect had approx 8 units left this arvo

    • +1

Parafield had heaps. Probably 20+ at 6.30pm

    • Modbury had 4 this morning. Still marked as $79.

    • Mile end has half a pallet as soon as you walk in

  • Ok help guys… This is ridonkulous.. been to 2 plces in hoppers n altona, no stock available… Anyone knows where else?

    • I bought from Altona this arvo. Did you go to the tools section? They were stacked at the very back and not on display with the other cleaners. Ask a staff member to check stock levels elsewhere. West Footscray usually has stock being a quiet store..

    • Bit out of your way but I just bought one at Notting Hill. Had at least 10 left, they were still marked at $79 and I had to show the staff the price online as they weren't aware at the time. Went in to get a pack of bolts, came out with this and the last Ozito 240W Bench Grinder and Belt Sander for $100 total.

  • +1

I am surprise that it works quite well. I have a a AR blue 1900w pressure cleaner. It is almost double the weight and size. This Ozito unit is much easier to carry but the hose is very short in comparison to the AR blue. I would love to get an extension for it.

Still has 7 at Northland Bunnings. I was just happened to drive pass it and bought 2. 1 for the front and 1 for the back :)

  • +1

I got mine from Victoria Point Bunnings (QLD) as soon as I saw this post.
Used it this arvo, works pretty well, money well spent, especially with a 3 year replacement warranty.

Edit: they had tons in stock but I went as soon as I saw this post, not sure if they have been OB'd yet

  • Do you guys recommend using this to wash your car?
Have seen car wash places spray the car with these things before they start washing it.

  • +1

Thanks OP, grabbed one earlier. They had 12 left in the store (Nunawading VIC). Will try it tomorrow

  • +2

Could this be used to clean the tiles in the bathroom and the shower?

  • +2

How does this compare to sponge and bucket from SCA for $1?

    • +3

The bucket and sponge is a piece of shit. This is actually useful

      • Yeah don't want to be smearing shit all over the car..then I would be forced to buy this to clean the mess.

  • +3

For those of you wanting this specifically to clean your car…you honestly dont need to buy this.

A hose wand (www.bunnings.com.au/pressure-hose-wand_p3130598) will work just as well. I even use my $10 garden hose spray gun (just turn it to the jet setting) sometimes.

    • Sounds too good to be true, uses more water tho doesn't it?

  • +1

ok, thanks to ALDI, I bought this Ozito from Baunnigs this morning for $48, mainly because of 3yr replacement warranty. My previous Karcher lasted after almost 7yrs two days back. Used it this morning, really impressed with the pressure & quality is not that bad. Bunnings tags still says $79, though scanned to $48.

  • +1

About 10 left in maribyrnong vic. Located just left of the entrance

  • Yasssss, just the thing i've been after. My deck needs a clean after not being used for awhile, it's a bit dusty…..

  • +1

as an ex Karcher and Warwick rep anything under 1,500PSI and 13 litres per minute is useless and you won't purchase them for $200.

Most if not all machines under that have plastic hoses that eventually rupture. The motors are doing 2,800RPM. They have a wobble plate and axial pumps, cheap valves and usually plastic pistons unlike their big brother that does 1,400RPM motor, ceramic sleeved SS pistons, brass head and heavy duty valves.

I have washed vehicles with 3,000PSI pressure at 15LPM with no damage.

    • +1

yes, may be true, keep in mind this comes with 3yr replacement warranty, & $46 or $16 per Yr,,

  • +1

Just bought in Carlingford. Last one in stock =)

    • +1

Plenty left in Cranbourne /VIC store..

  • already bought one. Hope it will last for a year.

    • 3yr replacement warranty,

      • +1

yup will remember that and will keep the receipt.

        • +6

A quick tip, anyone who buys one should take a photo/scan their receipt. The ink fades quick on these and when this thing dies they'll look at you funny when you pull out a blank piece of paper and demand a replacement.

        • +1

@LGW: happened to me. True story.

        • @spy: haha were you able to convince them that it was the correct receipt? It must happen quite often as the bunningd staff was the one who gave me that tip.

        • @LGW: failed. Was asked to bring statement. Didn't know if I paid cash or card. Left pissed off and couldn't be bothered any more.

        • @spy: damn hopefully wasn't an expensive item

  • +1

Still about 10 left at Knoxfield store VIC

  • +1

None left at Springvale store, got one from keysborough store, I was told there were 8 left but could only see 2 on the shelf.

  • Plenty of stock in Launceston Tas, does anyone know of a compatible extension hose?

  • +3

Got one of these on Saturday. Used it to wash two cars, a motorbike, and clean some dirty brickwork.

Overall, great bang for buck at this price. Not the most powerful pressure cleaner around, but sufficient for most 'around the house' type jobs. Unit itself is fairly compact and not that noisy when running, and attachments are easy to assemble and use.

  • +1

30 in Stock at Notting Hill,VIC just outside the Tool Store. Were not there yesterday when I went to pick up some other items.

  • +1

the link has gone from the website, is it the end of story? Still haven't had a chance to reach any store :(

  • +1

Plenty left @ Castle Hill and still $48!

  • Anyone able to confirm if this has finished? Was hoping to pick one up today.

    • Arundel still have ~27

      • I'm close to Arundel, the price is still $48 though?

        • Yep

        • +1

@nocure: thanks, will grab one later today :)

  • +1

Saw two at Hoxton Park at 2:00pm
