Many credit cards provide travel insurance these days if you pay for flights or accommodation. Not needed.

Many people don't have credit cards, many of those policies have high excesses ($500) or cap the payout for particular items. There are tons of reasons why people would need this!

  • You can add TID1117 as another 10% off coupon was well should last until December and then the code will change to TID1217

I believe you can only add 1 promo code during the application. Are you saying it's possible to add another one?

Claimed on TID for delayed luggage this month, quick and had no issues!

  • Read the pds carefully - especially cancellation type clauses beyond your control that are not covered.

  • Where can I enter the promo code, can't seem to find it anywhere :(

Open up incognito mode in chrome. Enter your details, select the plan you want. The next page should have a field to enter your promo code under "help change the world".

Otherwise you can clear your cache and history and it should work.

      • Thank you, clearing cache / history worked!

  • Have they cancelled their embargo for Bali travel insurance.

  • Thanks OP! Saved $10.62 on travel insurance for my trip to NZ in February.

  • I just used code TID0118 to save 10% on an annual multi trip policy. I'm guessing that will be valid through January 2018.

I have included travel insurance on all my credit cards, but when you read the fine print, they are very basic with lots of exclusions.

My experience with TID - I have had an annual multi trip policy for the past few years. Both my wife and I are covered for domestic and international travel independently of each other and our kids are covered when travelling with one of us (up to the age of 21) - No credit card travel insurance will give you that flexibility.

In that time I have had two claims - one in Singapore for medical treatment at Raffles Private Hospital A&E following an accident and once in London for a lost camera. Both claims were paid out quickly with no hassle. From my experience, I would recommend TID highly.
