Yeah but remember. How are you going to get that game giveaway if buying from another seller other than MSY just to save $4 or so?. The give gameaway redemption is on an MSY server from this MSY Pax Event.
@hollykryten: it was already mentioned in the post that the ebay sale doesnt come with it. limucat asked after therefore we can assume he/she doesnt want it. i think its more than $4 when taking shipping/travel into consideration
Begs the question, why bother buying a 2TB drive
some laptops have space for a 2.5inch drive as your secondary (ssd as main)… put it in a portable case… put it in your desktop as a secondary drive store data and game installs …. so on so forth.
What's it's advantages over 2TB Barracuda?
Arguably the solid-state cache - it's a hybrid drive.
Warranty is also 5 years instead of 2 years, unless you get the BarraCuda Pro models.
i've been waiting for cheap HDD to get just solely for archiving photos downloaded from my phone and the occasional accessing to print some photos. Can I use like a WD red nas hdd on a desktop pc?
I notice that Assassin's Creed Origins game giveaway is on an MSY server which you've even got to upload a copy of the invoice. So what happens if you've purchased the HDD from a seller other than MSY?. No getting a free game in that case?.
Do you get a uPlay key for the game?
The game runs through uPlay so yes there would be a key assigned for it.

I asked MSY on Friday, they said it would be anywhere up to 7 days to get the code.

I got an email from seagate with a Redeem now button but it only takes me back to the form. Do you have to refill in the form to collect the game? Or do they just give you a cd key in the email?
