Probably targeted.
Just received an email to receive up to 50,000 Flybuys points when purchasing an Optus product online. Details in the linked image. Looks like you need to use the direct link in the email (not a generic link)
50,000 - Mobile Plan (up to 50,000, depends on plan selected)
20,000 - Home Broadband (up to 20,000)
5,000 - Sim Only

Just checked my emails and found it. Was about to go to Optus tomorrow to port my current number and get a new phone. Ended up getting 35000 points.
    Thanks

  • When I click on the link it says:

    Invalid flybuys number
Unfortunately this appears to be an invalid flybuys number.

    So it may be targeted.

    • I clicked the link and did the same thing but when I found the email it worked.

      • But I don't have any email, nor does it appear in my offers. I also tried signing in to Flybuys, then going to the page. No worky.

  • What can u get for 50,000 flybys points, anything good?

  • Mmm 10,000 Flybuys - just need to port 2 mobiles and keep them there for 31 days…tempting. Although last time I ported into Optus from Telstra I lasted less than a week.

  • No iPhone x

  • If I could post a negative vote on this deal I would.

After 7 days of processing my order, Optus Claim they have no record of my order, yet I received a confirmation number via email from them (and I quoted the number) and they said to process my order it can be done but I won’t get any Flybuys points.
I’ve contacted flybuys and they said I need to process the order again.

  • Tried to port 2 services across. One went through. With the other, I disappeared into an endless chat/call centre vacuum lasting nearly 2-1/2 hours. Cancelled the one that failed and have requested my money back (when the confirmation didn't come through just went PayPal), and ported back to Telstra earlier today. Never again.
