    Wonder Woman is Amazonian

    • +1

Whatever happened to Sting's friend with the big lips that live in the Amazon rain forest?

    • +1

I lost my virginity to Wonder Woman on TV.

      • +4

you've been saving that story for THIS audience?

      • FTA or discounted Foxtel?

        • Illegal cable.

  • +1

Was only two weeks ago they gave me unlimited sales with zero final value fees. Now this. Good to see the scumbags at ebay are feeling the heat.

    • Unlimited sales?
      In 24 hours?

      • +2

A couple of months ago they had unlimited free listings with no final value. We need more of that.

    • Haha, I got offered five. So far I've only managed to sell one.

  • +1

Cool, worked for me. Thanks OP!

  • Great. 75% off must be better than 5 totally free listings

    • I'd give you 100% off.

      • Woohooo you’re tooo nice

      • Could you get me 90% off? #edging

  • Don't forget insertion fees apply for this promotion

    • +2

Use code TIGHTARSE for no insertion.

  • So I tried using this, but instead it still uses one of the 40 free insertions you get. What do?

    • +2

Same here, always happens with these eBay promos.

Take a note of the item ID and when it is sold contact eBay if you don't receive a credit.

      • This.
eBay always have this bug so you have to note the item id and contact their customer support and they will give you credit for the final value fee.

  • I probably wouldn't shop at amazon today if ebay released a 20-30% off code today

    just sayin…

    • There is currently 20% off selected eBay sellers.

      Just sayin…

      • Yep saw it but selected ebay sellers is limited - come on ebay fight the amazon wave

Ive sold some items using the Free Fixed Price & Auction Listings promotions posted here a while back that still apply to my account but still got an invoice for fees from Ebay so keep an eye out and send it back to them if they try to charge their full fees

        • Thanks for just sayin…

        • @Scab:

          just sayin… :)

        • @mrshorty:

          You said it, just sayin…

        • @mrshorty:
I have something amazing to share … but Im not sayin'

I didn't receive any notification from eBay, but when I click the link it says you've accepted the offer, and it came up on my promotional offer list.
    Thanks!!!

  • Probably put's it's FVF at about what I think it should be, especially when the final value is in the 100's or higher.

This is good.. their fees are such a rip off! Even worse since they also scalp us with GST.

    • BTW, the GST thing is coming from the Federal Government and not something arbitrarily imposed by eBay, so not their fault. On top of that, the whole idea of enforcing GST is an attempt to stop larger companies (cough Apple cough) from siphoning too much profit offshore without being taxed. Sadly, the trickle-down effect traps the common eBay seller, too.

      • Yep I know that. Just that their fees are a rip off too, the added GST just makes their service even less desirable. I liked Ebay better 10+ years ago before all the retailers joined.

        • Agreed. If you can afford their monthly store fees you can enjoy reasonable item fees, too, but your turnover needs to be enough to justify it and still turn a profit. That effectively squeezes out the casual seller, who helped eBay with its phenomenal growth to begin with. Sometimes you wonder if they've forgotten their roots.

        • @Chazzozz:

          I never forget my roots.

  • Sold something 2 days ago but didn't know about this until today. I think the promo started on 12/11/17? Tried to get them to apply it retrospectively via online chat with some eBay staff member but all I got was canned responses, and basically a 'no'. Pricks.

    • The promo effectively starts when you accept it.

  • +1

Cool, I've got that one now. Accepted!

  • Looking forward to the Amazon comments.

I was under the impression that they were keeping everything under wraps, they don’t like speaking out?

    Btw thanks for the offer!

    • Watched A Current Affair the other day and they said Amazon will be open by Christmas.

They also bought a shopping basket of goods and ALDI were the cheapest.

      • Was meant to be a little play on words lol, I really hope they open next week as predications say :)

        • Was meant to be a little play on words

Yeah, I got it but I was bored.

Anyway, apparently the Fulfillment Center is going to be in Melbourne, can't wait.

          I love being fulfilled.

      • ALDI were the cheapest.

I saw that too, what a shock. I was on the edge of my seat.

        • I stopped watching porn so I wouldn't miss it.

  • I still have the 5 free FVF and listing fee offer active. I clicked on the link and it automatically said i accepted the offer. So the question is, if i were to list, which one would it use first? The free or the 75% off (with listing fee)?

    • +1

The priority would be No FVF\IF > No IF > 75% off FVF.

  • Great! Another eBay offer I am not eligible for! Just checked my promotions under sell/sold area.

This is getting out of hand, the last 4 or so eBay offers I wasn't eligible for! No wonder I am happy to put up with gumtree low ballers and risk.

    • Gumtree is bad too. We need an alternative to Gumtree and Ebay for selling stuff!

      • Why is Gumtree bad?

        • +1

I find the market is smaller than ebay, not enough buyers, and lots of no-shows, half assed enquiries, etc. Maybe facebook markeplace is better but I've never tried that.

        • +1

Because Gumtree sold out to ebay. And now gumtree pushes links to ebay when you search through gumtree.
There is also a massive push to force people to pay for extras on guntree now, since ebay bought gumtree.

    • "Unfortunately, this promotional offer is by invitation only."

      :(

  • +1

If ebay are really worried about Amazon stealing a piece of their business pie, why not allow everyone to have the 75% off FVF….

Once again I am not targetted

  • I accepted the offer, listed a couple of items - they're coming off the 40 free listings (which are subject to full FVF) before the 10 listings with 75% off.

Pretty sure this happened last time I got this offer as well.

… Unless the counter only goes up once an item sells.

  • please let me know how to get this offer ? i dont see any email, ebay has milked over $2000 from me this year from sales.

    • You sell milk on eBay, are you a daigou?
