  • Damnit, just bought 3 slower 16GB Micro-SD cards last weekend for basically the same price…

    • I bought 32gb micro sd from shopping square the weeks ago and still waiting, and need it urgently.

      • I got mine yesterday, it took longer because they couldn't deliver to a Parcel Locker and had to change my address.

        • Autocorrect.. bought it three weeks ago. And I paid $10 for postage. And it wasn't that cheap.

      • yea its why i refuse to buy from shopping square, had it twice from them and bad customer service in response.

        • +2

The micro SD card comes From Hong Kong. Probably postage is cheaper from there than from Sydney, lol.

        • @abacus:

Yup they told me both mine were shipped from inside Aus and then argued with me about not getting them…Now i just avoid

  • +7

    Can PM @ Officeworks.

Pro Plus 32gb will be $17.1.

These also have free delivery with Shipster if you have a minimum spend of $25 :)

    • How do you price match online without having to go in store?

      • Give them a call on 1300 OFFICE (633 423)

    • Have you actually got the price match ? I say its highly unlikely to happen, unless someone actually got it done ?

      • Why is it unlikely? If there is stock locally then their policy says they match it. Some people got a match on the Z623 speakers which were $170 @ OW but $36 at EB Games lol.

      • Got 1 @ Fairy Meadow NSW just now.

    • My local OW wouldn't match as they are on clearance at HN (doesn't show clearance on mobile but does on website).

I got the last one at 32gb micro Sd at Wagga Wagga, but would have bought two more. Even with $6 postage it's still a good deal though.

      • I had gotten the last 32gb PRO+ MicroSD.
While I was having lunch nearby I had a looka the website and found these for the same price.

        https://www.harveynorman.com.au/samsung-evo-plus-32gb-micro-…

The Evo+ is U1, but not too far from the Pro+ which is U3. I went back and got two of these with one still in stock.

They have Evo, but specs are alot less.

        • Is this card ok for my son to store movies on his tablet?

        • @saurs82:

Yes. Any card would probably be okay for tablet playback (usually <1080p). These higher performance cards are needed for 4K video which is why they are normally more expensive.

        • @Mainsail: Thankyou for your help, this type of technology is not my strong point!

    • +5

Elizabeth St. OW said they're not the same products hence refused to price match me. The HN card is "Pro +" while the one OW have is "Pro Plus".

    • I'd recommend going in to OW, try to find the most 'uninformed' staff member there, and show them the price on your mobile phone (as this doesn't state it's a clearance item, while on desktop is does).

  • +1

Looks like no pickup available in Melbourne- the $10 postage kind of kills deal for the $4 16gb cards.

    • the verbatim is micro sd right ? according to the spec list ?

    • Say $14.95 delivery for me.

    • Woolies have a 16GB SD card on EoL for $5 at the moment.

    • $5.95 delivery for me both Melbourne and Docklands.

      • I live in regional Victoria and is $14.95 delivery and not eligible for shipster.

is there any larger capacity than 32gb?

    • +1

64GB is $58 so not even in the ballpark of a deal.

    • There are this and this which have seen better prices

      • +3

Did I read something wrong? These 64G cards should be U3, not U1. But on the pictures they are U1.

  • +1

Thanks!! will be perfect for my gopro5

  • Would you say these are good quality memory cards? Might have to duck down to my local Officeworks during my lunch break

    • +3

Definitely. Those read write levels can handle pretty much every application.

    • +2

In terms of quality, they are propably the highest quality you can find.

      • Are these the long life/more durable type that are recommended for dash cam and the like that are always running?

  • Cheers OP ;)

  • just brought a sandisk 32g same class two days ago. $30 damnit

    • +8

      Where did you bring it?

      • hn

        • +7

          Whoosh

        • +1

Maybe you could buy another one and return it with the $30 reciept?

        • @Wheatgrass: but no stock around my local area. gold coast. no point to get it delivered

      • To the discussion. Proof that everything on the internet is salvageable!

  • +2

How are these for dash cams? Specifically the 32GB for G1W-CB dashcam.

  • I paid 60 bucks for pro+ 32gb back in 2015

    • +11

      Should have waited.

      • +5

        Going to return it.

        • did you pay using credit card with price protection, should be able to claim it if you bought it after 15/11/15 :)

        • @h4zey: don't remember but i got the receipt at home.

    • +1

      I paid $6000 for a 486DX33 back in the 90’s

    • paid $400 for 33.6K modem in 1996

  • +3

The 16gb ones are cheap enough so I can just use them once and leave them in a draw as an extra, extra back up for my photos.
The twin pack of 16gb memory sticks for $7 is ok too, if you find yourself regularly handing them to kids who lose them.
    https://www.harveynorman.com.au/emtec-c410-16gb-usb-flash-dr…

And it helped me get over $25 for free shipster shipping.

    • I'd hate to see you shoe collection

    • Was looking for cheap, disposable usb sticks for a few weeks now, thank you!

  • Good for the Samsung 360 eye? Will it over heat?

  • -7

$15 delivery for something so small is ridiculous. Brings it to $32 for me

    • +5

Cmon mate the deal itself is good, not a valid reason for a neg

      • None of the stores in Adelaide seemed to allow free pick up for me so the minimum purchase price was $33 for me

    • Delivery is free with a free shipster membership and an extra $7 spend.

    • Is that you? Kevin?

  • Bought one. Thanks OP.

  • Has this been sold out?

    • Stock does appear to be getting pretty limited, and the Verbatim last I checked was only available in Thomastown, VIC (probably still available online though).

  • +1

none available for pick up in Brisbane so if you are in Brisbane, don't bother !

    • -1

I just bought all 73 that's why. Will give you one at a mark up if interested. PM me.

      • +1

      • Wow, and you have the gusts to post the comment…

        • +2

        • -3

lol I'm kidding. I'm glad OP said this because I was going to buy one for my GoPro, but he saved me the hassle of looking.

          @The Wololo Wombat:
Nobody gets Brodening jokes these days 🤡

        • @Steptoe: lol the negs only fuel further jokes - kinda like the way groans from family members fuel a Dad's Dad jokes.
