Was visiting my local Officeworks store this morning (Werribee) and noticed that they had this Logitech MX5500 Keyboard/Mouse combo for $119. I was at JB moments before and saw the same thing for $249. Cheapest staticice price is $159, so this is definitely a bargain…

I'd say that its probably a pricing mistake as the guy at the counter thought it was really cheap as well.. The mouse alone is/was $78 at MSY, let alone a LCD keyboard.

Even their website lists it for $249.. I'd probably move quick if you want one as i reckon its a pricing mistake which they'll quickly fix.

    Actually, it is $119 at JB Hifi (reported here)…OW are just matching the price so people can no longer claim the extra 5% off guarantee.

      Their downside though is that anyone who didn't know about the JB offer will now get it much cheaper than otherwise.

        That is true.

        With OW and JB Hifi having the same price and factoring out other issues (eg. travel distance, etc.), I'd buy it from JB. I'd rather support the shop who actually had the thought to reduce the price in the first place.

    This is actually a bad thing due the inability to get an extra 5% off JB's $119.41.

    yeah i got one after reading the JB thread.. the parra officeworks i went still had $249 on the shelf.. but when they scanned it it was already $119

    looks like i just lost 40 cents. i went out in the rain to JB just to buy a keyboard, ended up with the mx 5500. couldn't pass up the opportunity

    Thank you! Fantastic deal! I noticed that they had $249 on the shelf at the OW store I went to and was just about to leave and go to JB Hifi instead when a sales guy walked up.

    I mentioned the $119 deal and he was very surprised but looked it up and I walked away with two new keyboards for $113 each as he took another 5% off even though the scanned price was correct he said the shelf price was wrong. When I left the sales guy was going to buy one himself! :-)
