    They must have removed the Good Guys at the last moment, because when I did a search using EBay's own "Search stores with 20% off" TGG was in it and I was struggling to figure out why I couldn't apply the coupon

      I suspect it was a mistake, as TGG had a separate sale and I'm guessing that's because they wanted the 20% to only apply to selected items.

      It says specifically in the deal that The Good Guys aren't included, but the search link still includes them. Not a scam, you just didn't read the deal.

        I went through the app, saw the deal, opened the deal landing page, searched for a dishwasher and multiple goodguys items come up.

        At no point did it say that the Goodguys were not part of the deal. I would only know if I read the terms and conditions.

        I was going to purchase a dishwasher and a fridge so it's quite disappointing that they were listed in the deal search but not actually part of the deal.
