    • Sorry I missed your first 2 questions. If you click on the referral link a 5 digit code should appear. There is no field to put it online. You can provide it to the consultant anytime prior to settlement to get the discounted fee.

Great rate. I have been with them for a year and am very happy

They haven't increased your rate substantially yet?

      • No - did they to you?

        • Well I am at 4.1% currently (interest only). At the time of sign up there were the best like they are now, but they won't stick to it, as you can see by the .6% gap I now have between my rate and the most competitive rate.

        • I've been with them for 5 years. I'm at 4.32%, offset loan.

Looks like the discharge fee is $550 at the moment, add that into your calculation, you may need to use it when they increase the rate or don't bother lowering it if interest rates decrease.

        • @ChurchMouth: they did this when there wasn’t Reserve Bank official rate increases?

        • @niknah:

4.32%? You should move banks or threaten to do so and/or renegotiate using the offer above.

Regarding discharge fees, banks often have an incoming deal sweetener larger than the exiting discharge fee. Eg: NAB = $1820 of gift cards

can't refinance to this rate. what a disgrace

  • Aussie Home Loans offered me 100% offset at 3.69% with a $200 settlement fee & no ongoing fees, using Macquarie Bank.

    • THAts more expensive?

  • Seems better than Aussie Home Loans who have pretty bad reviews:
    https://www.productreview.com.au/p/aussie-home-loans.html

    • But really… whos going to wright good reviews about their mortgage lender… very few. More bad reviews for Aussie as they are larger and have being around longer.

    • Also alot of the newer ads for loans.com.au are so obviously fake. Just reverse the order and start reading from the oldest.

      • What’s you opinion on the best value home loan?
