    i use it to watch movies at night online streaming..
    no gaming or anything, so basically i want to know at night time does it matter with the screen difference where the pro has like luminated no space between the glass and the screen, i dont much care about the 4 speakers i always use headphones.

          Well it (iPad Pro) has got sensors that will adjust the colors on screen to match your environment - what Apple calls True Tone display. But for purely watching movies, I don't think you'll notice much of a difference. Definitely not a difference worth $175 dollars. It'll make a difference for reading but not really for movies.

        I agree. You can find differences in the specs but compare them next to each other and there is almost no justifying the extra cost.

          Huh? I mean that for the $175 that striker5950 saves, he/she can get a year's worth of Netflix. Netflix is currently $13.99 a month. Instead of paying $574 for the iPad Pro, striker5950 can get the 2017 iPad for $399 and a year's worth of Netflix. As his primary use is online streaming, the latter is a better deal.

      so iPad Pro 9.7 is lighter and has a better screen (full laminated vs air gap). It feels more solid overall on the screen part. Display quality should be on-par but iPad Pro again is less prone to strong light reflection (like using iPad on the train, etc). You also have the ability to use Apple Pencil, which isn't the case on the cheap iPad 2017.
      If these features above doesn't bother you too much, go for the iPad 2017. It's cheaper, faster and new.

      Same. Just need it for multimedia mainly movies and music. But would like bigger storage. The Harvey Norman deal for iPad 32gb after amex rebate is about $300. But I prefer 128gb. Not sure if worth it shelling out $370 more for the iPad pro 128gb
