I had to book KL to GC separately to get $65. Price came up in MYR.

Worst airline seats ever. So narrow and uncomfortable. Never again.

Did you fly the old black economy seats? They have recently changed to the white seats which can be reclined. The narrowness unfortunately only changes by quarter of an inch.

      • I've flown all three types of seats, the old old ones (before they refurbished the planes they bought), the old ones (non-recline), and the new ones.
They were all pretty terrible, mainly due to the narrowness. Other airlines have 2-3-2 on the same planes as AirAsia who have 3-3-3, so that's about 12% narrower.
        I'm 195cm tall though.

  • I flew to KL then to london and return with Air Asia in March and thought the seats were very comfortable (The new ones).
I'm 190cm and can't stand some airline seats, Jetstar kills me, but was quite happy with these flights.

Plus for the bargain price who really cares.

  • Kl to Perth - $54.00 inc taxes

Perth - Laos (Vientiane) return via KL - $352.00 inc taxes

    How good is this airline!

  • Awesome deal. It's a real bargain for July; I wouldn't have known about it without checking here. There's no other way I could've gone back to Singapore (via KL here) for ~A$320 return, including 15kg baggage and not starving the whole way…

I will pay in comfort, but if it's the difference between seeing my friends and family after 2 years, and not seeing them for 3 instead, I'll gladly spend some hours contorted in the air. Thank you howie10, because of your deal my parents are very, very happy and excited for July. :)
