they seem to have another offer for resubscription .. 11.99 for 3 month of premium for me

    • +2

I never thought i'd py for digital music files but spotify is such a nice program and it actually gets me to listen to music more often

      • I find the music to be more higher quality than the songs you would typically download.

  • +5

Yep, I've got 3 months for 11.99 to resub. I much rather Spotify over google play music but YouTube red is so yummy.

    • +3

hmm youtube red is good ? i’ve tried only apple music currently and .. gosh it’s so bad compared to spotify. Think apple should just concentrate on the hardware side lol

      • +2

Getting red for free keeps my on Google Music. It's good.

      • it’s so bad compared to spotify

        How so?

        • +2

you mean apple music ? i find the interface really cluttered .. it’s hard to search what i want.. recommended list or songs are horrible, can’t find any music discovery, needs icloud to make a bloody playlist .. i mean the list goes on but yeah, if ur a spotify user just stay far away from apple music.

    • This!
I wish red was available by itself for like $5 or something.
I can’t make the final switch to Spotify yet >< I love red so much

      • What does Red give you other than ad-free YouTube? I know you get Google Music, but as others have said - meh. I like the ad-free bit as I use Android TV and don't have the simple ad-blocking options that I get with a desktop browser.

        • Not sure about spotify, but there's a higher quality music streaming option in google music too. Again, not sure about the comparison.

What google has over spotify for me are: ad free youtube, lock screen streaming youtube (plays when you switch apps and in the background), save vidoes, and they pay artists more per song play.

    • Open only to users who haven't already tried Premium.

I guess I'm making anoooother new account! :|

    • Don't they match your payment details?

      • +14

Most cards expire every 2 years so people frequently have new card details. Also people often have a second debit or credit card to use. Furthermore, Paypal is another point of difference to use as a payment method. In rotation you can introduce new payment methods regularly for these types of services, inc Netflix.

The other great hack is that gmail accounts ignore fullstops (.) in addresses, so if you signed up with [email protected] you can sign up with a unique email as [email protected] or [email protected] etc. and they will all go to the same inbox. Get creative!

        • +1

Yeah I just use the same paypal every time as far as I can remember. I'll try double check that though. I've made about 5 new accounts at this stage.

        • @Deviner: do playlists etc. save?

        • +1

@Rhyno I don't get why someone negged you, so I gave you a posiive :)

          I agree with your points.

        • +1

@jikijiki: They don't save but it's real easy to share your playlist on your original account, and make it editable.
Then do a search for it on your new account and just continue adding songs to the playlist etc.
I've had the same playlist for a few accounts now.

        • @Deviner:
What if you don't like making it editable? Should you search old account, add all songs one by one to the new playlist?

        • +1

@Armin65: If you don't want it editable, you can just search it and "Follow" it on your new account and it'll be on your sidebar until you get rid of it.
Making it editable just means other people can add to it.

  • Any chance I can pay with google play or iTunes credit? I get prompted for a credit card through the email and in-app on Android.

if I signup now and then cancels straight away. Will the subscription stay active till 3 months?

    • +4

      yes

  • +6

Bring back Groove music! After they gave me a 3 year free deal now they are cancelling the service :(

    • +2

Yeah I'm getting kind of attached to Groove now. Perhaps not the best time since there's only a month left!

  • -3

Does Spotify Premium let you download songs for playing outside the subscription period?

    • +7

      no

  • +2

If you an existing customer who has cancelled, log in and you should see the 3 months offer for $11.99.

Subject should be updated to state Get 3 Months of Spotify Premium for $0.99 for New customers, Get 3 months for $11.99 for existing customers.

    • +1

"It appears you are not eligible for this offer."

  • This Or the 4 months free youtube/google music..

    • I think that's expired…

  • Looking forward to getting back on Spotify after my free sub on Tidal. It's rubbish. The choice of compilations that they offer for electronic music is terrible. It's all skewed towards modern hard core EDM

  • if I had tried Premium before, can I just use a new email address and open a new account? or is it tied to the device?

last time I "tried" it, it was like "do you want to try this feature?", I thought "ok why not", and then before you know it "congratulations you are now trialing Premium Spotify!", and I was like "WTF?", luckily I didn't enter any CC details…….

This is a good deal to grab! Though I am pretty satisfied with the modded Spotify (android) I am using. :)

    • +4

What does the modded Spotify do for you? I've not heard of it before.

      • +2

had a quick search.. modded Spotify APK gives you below

        Unlocked Spotify Connect
Seek forward button added to information bar (tablet mod)
        Visual ads blocked
        Audio ads blocked
        Seeking enabled
        Unlimited shuffle
        Choose any song (Track Selection)
        Extreme audio quality unlocked
        Repeats enabled

      • Lets say it gives ALL premium features Eexcept the download thing.

        • You don't get the high-quality music option. Chromescast still works.

        • @ilikeit:

There is a new mod that let you stream true high-quality music. About chromcast i am not sure.

        • @Afrozenminute: Will look into it. The Android version I have supports Chromecast.

    • Agreed. And ezblocker for Spotify pc will also remove all ads.

  • 3months 0.99c Yessssss!!!! …..For those that haven't tried premium….Ohhhhhhhh

  • Damn i'm already on a 3 month trial running out in a about a week :(

    • Sign up again with a different email

      • i'll give it a shot

      • I have just tried this, but it seems to be linked to my bank card?

  • +1

Just in time for the free TIDAL to expire. Thanks!

  • What different google music ans Spotify?

  • +1

Need to remember to create another account on December 31 so I start 3 months from then.

  • +1

Is anyone having problems buying the sub with paypal? It was fine the last time. :/

  • I am already a premium customer (11.99 per month). If I cancel and sign up with a different email I will lose all of my playlists, daily mixes, etc. Seems like too much hassle for me.

Unless anyone can confirm that cancelling and signing up again for 11.99 for 3 months definitely works?

Good deal though, highly recommend for anyone who does not have it.

    • Can share playlists, see posts above.

    • I cancelled and when I go to sign up premium again it doesn’t give me 3 months for 11.99 only one month.

      Anyone else have this problem?

  • +1

Any deals for Spotify Family Plans?

  • Ty

  • If you cancel after 20th October 2017 you are not eligible for the 3 months for $11.99

  • How long is it before you can cancel before subscription payments kick in?
