This is usually sells for around US$600 mark. This is a one day deal from B&H. It is cheaper 4k camera option for people stuck with first gen MFT from olympus/panasonic cameras.

Miniature in size yet big on performance, the Z Camera E1 is an interchangeable camera system that packs the feature-set of a mirrorless camera into a body more akin to an action camera. The E1 features an active Micro Four Thirds lens mount and a 16MP MFT Panasonic CMOS sensor that supports DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) video at 24 fps, UHD (3840 x 2160) at 30 fps, and 1080p video up to 60 fps. The camera can also shoot 16 megapixel stills in JPEG or uncompressed DNG RAW formats, with full resolution burst mode shooting up to 15 fps.

In addition to physical buttons and a rear LCD screen, the camera can be remotely controlled over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth 4.0 using an iOS or Android mobile device. This lets you take advantage of the small form factor by mounting the E1 in hard-to-reach places, while still able to remotely monitor, trigger, manage content, and even power the camera from its standby mode. The E1 is constructed from a die-cast magnesium alloy body that weighs only 8.9 oz, including the 2000mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack. Its low weight and small footprint make it a compact 4K camera you can carry with you at all times, as well as being well-suited to capturing action-camera-type POV footage and mounting on UAVs for aerial photography.

    • There is a focus pull feature with phone app.

    • it is really bad to record video with autofocus on

  • I would think a Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera with a Speedbooster would give better results.
