i have a flip 3, the sound quality is not bad actually.
not sure how flip 4 sounds like
I bought one and exchanged for the UE Boom 2 after a month of listening.
The sound is very bright, and I couldn't get any bass out of it, the Boom is better for my tastes.
The construction is good, but the sound is directional whereas the Boom is 360° give or take. The Flip is supposed to sit on its side, but if the surface isn't flat it will want to roll. It doesn't sound as good on its end.
Overall the Boom was worth the extra money to me

It's also $99 directly via the Myer website, and you can click and collect for free.
I couldn't find anything worth adding from Myer eBay to get the free shipping. Shipping costs $9.95.
