      I only know because I used Hopshopgo 2 days ago :) It's not cheap, but I have used it so far 6-7 times without issues and no delays. I haven't used Shopmate yet…

  How do you declare yours goods value for GST/Import Duties purposes with these parcel forwarding companies? Do they automatically calculate it for you or do you get to specify it?

  Shopmate is by far the worst USA-to-AU shipping (lack of) service I have ever tried to use (and I tried them twice).
  I cannot stress how pathetic, slow and poor their service is, they only offer email support, take weeks to respond and then overlook information previously provided.

  Even at 100% discount they are not worth dealing with, since it will cost more time and money due to the other issues they will cause.

    Can't agree more. Their average support response is 3-5 working days and is NOT licensed to handle food.
    I recently sent out chocolate to there and realised it marked as "dangerous goods" so called Auspost Shopmate support to figure out.
    The guy over the phone answered me in annoyed voice "Have you read the homepage guideline?"
    I double checked it while I'm on the phone and noticed there is a list of items they cannot handle goes like "guns, explosives… food"

    Sure, my bad. Asked them to forward the package to another shipping forward company within the US.
    Felt like it's not going anyway after a few days so called again then told "this is perfectly normal"

    Finally got my shipping + handling fee quote after then = AUD $47.57 for 2-3kg package.

    Lesson learned, avoid Shopmate like a plague.

  Please do not use shopmate!!!!!!

  In shopmate website, it shows:

  All ShopMate orders require a signature on delivery from the buyer. This offers greater protection in the event that an unauthorised person attempts to accept your parcel. For this reason, ShopMate will not deliver to PO Box.
  If you are unavailable to accept delivery, we'll have a card advising you which post office we've sent your parcel to.

  However, I get a GTX1070 (699AUD) delivered by shopmate. The post stuff just drops it in front of my door. And I never received it. Shopmate does not respond to this!!!! They reject me to get money back! I can do nothing for this! Worst AU post…
