    Cherry MW 3000 mouse.

    Best mouse I've ever used.

Despite not gaming for a long time or when I do non competitive game, until this mouse I;ve continually bough high end mouse, logitech and razor, $100+ all mouses. All seem to fail for some reason or another after 1-2 years

Came across this mouse at work a couple years back. Best mouse I've ever used, its sufficient for my actual needs and functions well… no issues…

I noted its made in Germany

Is it only me, the old logo looks better 0.0

    • Yes overall. The "G" would not know it is a G (If I do not know "logitech")

  • This is the deal I've been waiting for, but no Bing Lee in VIC

    • +1

Yeh same, want to get one but will wait for a deal with no postage!

      • It's $69 at most local stores (PCCG)

  • Anyone else have issues with these with their macbooks? I bought 1 but it had a really choppy connection. I'd often have to turn it off and back on.

So I went and swapped it out on warranty. Still kept happening. Had to return it instead :(

    • I am also curious to know since I bought one for my new Macbook pro. But I think I will need extra ports USB-C hub.

      • It's quite suspect. I've owned all 3 generations of this mouse. The first was absolutely amazing. Quality build, good weight and overall great design. But it suffered the double click issue after about 18 months of use. I went through 2 of these. Both had the same issues.

The second lost the fantastic pouch that the original came with and the amazing on/off switch design. Worse of all, it has well known connectivity issues (cutting in and out) especially for Macs which Logitech never fixed :(

On the plus side, it was arguably a prettier mouse. Looks great sitting on my shelf. Always intended on returning it but never got around to it.

When this latest one came out, I was cautiously optimistic. But alas, it was worse and appears to be even more cheaply made than the previous. I honestly don't know what Logitech are doing or thinking these days :(

The worse part is I have a much lower end Logitech mouse which gets used and abused by everyone for the last 5-6 years and it's perfectly fine. It's only the flagship versions that are giving me grief.

    • I have the MX Anywhere 2 and love it but like yourself, the mouse had a choppy connection right out of the box, on my win 10 work pc. It happens when I am connected via dongle or bluetooth. Really tempted to get the 2s but it sounds like the connectivity issue hasn't been resolved?

      • +1

Had similar issues, solved it by putting the unifying receiver very close to the mouse via hub or extn cable for my desktop. Owned 3xMX and 1xMX2.

        • Will give this a go. thanks.

      • I used to use dongle all the time in my laptop but when the USB port is needed, switched to Bluetooth and had disconnections frequently until I saw this tip and worked. Worked on my MX Anywhere 2. Hope it helps. https://community.logitech.com/s/feed/0D53100005KkwPdCAJ

        • Fix seems to only be for Windows :(

        • @robhung: Sorry forgot the Windows note above, wish I had a Mac to try it on :(

        • @koolaje:
Tried it! There's no current fix for macs unfortunately. Pretty sad because with the loss of the humble regular USB ports on the MacBooks, and Apple deciding 1 USB port on the Macbook and 2 on the 13 inch Macbook Pro (non-touchbar) are sufficient for human use, these would be the perfect solution.

    • I bought the original MX Master and suffered with a similar issue (mouse pointer would skip). Didn't return it, in the hopes it'll eventually sort itself out.

But since 10.13, it looks like it's better, with no skipping that I can see (I still hate the acceleration curve on it, though).

I'm interested in the smaller Anywhere now for portability. If anyone can confirm that there is no issue with connectivity or pointer skipping on the latest generation of MacBook Pros?

    • This is not necessarily an issue with the mouse, but with the MacOS Bluetooth implementation.

I've used My MX Anywhere 2 on 3 different MacBook Pro models (2013 13", 2012 15" and 2015 15"). The 2012 model was easily the worst to use this mouse with. Constantly lost BT connectivity, and it got really choppy with the wireless dongle. The 2015 model works well with it, with only occasional stutters or issues. Still, I've gone back to using a Trackpad while at my desk, and only use the mouse for traveling now.

  • Anyone getting a 70049 70084 error when they click the "Pay" using Paypal or credit card?

  • Just as an FYI, this mouse doesn't have a middle click button (clicking down on the scroll wheel toggles from fast to normal scroll instead)

    • It actually does have a middle click button behind the scroll wheel but it is extremely inconvenient.

Love everything else about this mouse though.

      • I just picked mine up this afternoon but find that the scroll wheel wobbles and make noise when I use the mouse. Is this normal?

        • I just picked mine up and I can hear the scroll wheel moving when i shake it. Don't notice it during normal use though.

        • i thought they have the side push/ scroll option with the scroll wheel?

        • yes, it's normal. it has two models. you can press the wheel to find out which mode you like.

        • @eecan:
Thanks, have to return it to Binglee as I can easily get distracted by the sound during normal use.

        • @poporange630: As John Kelvin said, the mouse has 2 scrolling modes: smooth-scroll & click-to-click mode. Your mouse is in click-to-click mode, hence comes with the click noise that you heard. You can press the scroll wheel to switch to smooth-scroll mode, which don't have the click noise.

    Cheers OP, grabbed one

    • Hey Smurfstah, can you PM please.

  • They're branding things "Logi" now? Ugh.
