    Visited MSY Mitcham 10:28 today (store opens at 10:30) told they opened up at 10:15 and queued up customer already took all the headsets LOL

      The WD Green is a budget SSD and it will be fine for 99 percent of uses

      and yes it'll fit into any desktop PC. Just need to have a spare SATA3 cable.

      You'll probably want the blue. larger SSD's are usually much faster than smaller ones as they have more memory channels

      I tried price matching with HN for the Cloud II headset, however they rejected it as the product isn't identical (different colour) and made mention that it's currently sold out at MSY.

    worst experience ever went into their store in mitcham at 10:30 right as they open, go in and its sold out.
    Proceed to order online for their Pascoe Vale branch to pickup as it is still in stock get an email later on saying its out of stock

    Went into the Balcatta, WA store just now for the Cloud II headset. Stock is on it's way but they'll give you the red one for the same price. Can get the grey one if you pay the full price up front, which I did. Staff were super friendly and helpful as always, MSY Balcatta has always been awesome to me :)

    Called my local jb earlier and just picked them from the click and collect counter, sucessfully price matched $59 @ JB hifi.
    Assume you should be able to grab it the same price if u show them my receipt

    P.S. jb's price matching policy states that it must be identical and the store that they are matching still has stock for that product. In this case MSY is out of stock + the headphone is in different colour. So my best advice is just show them my receipt and ask them to match the price rather mention the msy deal!

      I tried that (by phone) and they started asking questions about the deal my "friend," got in the other JB, if there was any extra info on the receipt, etc.

      $59 was a no go. Best offer was $89. JB Leichhardt, Sydney.

    I've just been told at North Melbourne that the manager was apparently sick, so no-one checked online orders for that branch and no stock was pulled to fill orders for collection. They've sold out, and they've no intention of honoring the orders.

    The person at the front desk was apologetic, but didn't seem to have the ability to do anything about it.

      Update: I contacted the feedback email address and beetran about this; they acknowledged that it was an issue and agreed to honour the deal given the situation with the process failure. Really happy with how they handled my particular problem - would recommend contacting the feedback team to sort out issues that don't get fixed in-store :)

    I swear last night at msy online there were cloud 2 stocks available on different locations.

    Whats puzzling is that they remove most of the stocks rendering it out of stock but why? when the price was still the original not $59.

    somethings fishy going on, called auburn, hurtville ans ultimo stores none bothered to answer the call

    Unfortunate experience here as well.
    Ordered online in the morning, and an email was sent in the afternoon notifying me it was ready for pick-up.
    Just went down to the store to get it, and staff tell me they're actually out of stock.
    Front desk was apologetic, but still not the best experience…

    Roughly how much better are these Cloud II thingos, sound quality-wise?

    Worth it for the JB $83 price? Id be using them with the XB One S too, most likely.

    Was at the Cannington Store before they opened (checked before oline, said no stock in whole of WA), was 2nd in line (1st didn't get headset). I asked for the Cloud IIs and was told it was out of stock but they had 1 in red so I got it. My Mum went in after I left the store (just in-case they got picky about the 1/customer even though it's 2 people) to buy a pair for my brother who was at work. There was 1 other person who was in-line before my Mum who ended up getting the display model pair and when my Mum asked for a pair she was told they were completely out of stock and that she could pay $59 now and they would be ordered in in about 2 weeks. While it's obviously a shady tactic to get people into the store, I'm glad they at least offered to sell them when they get more stock… Was kind of expecting them to say they weren't ordering anymore stock in.

    About the headset, sound quality is okay but not better than my old $25 Gamdias Hebe GHS2300 headset which I've been using for 3yrs (1yr or so with a broken mic and 6months with 1/2 worn out earpads). I've tried 6 different <$70 headsets since buying this Hebe and they all sounded considerably worse.

    What I noticed with the Cloud II compared to my old Hebe
    - Male vocals sounded slightly better (mainly rap and low voices)
    - Female (and high pitched male) vocals have an annoying ringing on S's
    - Some electronic music sounds fairly worse (hissing or reduced audibility on tough sounds).
    - Bass is much less prominent (kind of ruins some songs) but does not artifact. The Hebe shook the headset under heavy base and was fairly annoying, doesn't happen with the Cloud.
    - Max output is only 16bit 48khz compared to 24bit 192khz.
    - 7.1 mode sounds aweful for music. It actually sounded alright on the Hebe (some songs better, some worse but kept it disabled).
    - Mic sounds a tonne better than the Hebe.

    I tried updating the firmware, changing to 44.1khz, enabling 7.1, disabling all enhancements and playing in WSAPI.
    Only playing in WSAPI made things slightly better but obviously isn't a solution as I'd like to listen to music while playing games. I honestly don't know why this headset was so recommended at $115 but for $59 I'd still consider it a bargain. I'm guessing those Gamdias Hebes were first model, low profit margin just to build brand recognition as I tried the Eros Elite GHS3600 and some other model a friend had and they were terrible though both 3.5mm so using my awful Motherboard codec.

    It seems like the only way to get anything from this sale is to try to price match somewhere else.

    I did finally get a reply to my email sent on Friday about the DX racer gaming chair.

    "Due to weight limitation, we do not offer shipping for this item.
    It`s only for in store customer only".

    So did anyone actually manage to get one in store??

    I doubt they will have any in stock now, no point me rocking up to the store at this point.

    This is so bullshit. I ordered the monitor during the promotional period and selected pick up in store with stock (low stock contact store) but online was “in stock” I didn’t wanna pay shipping so I selected pick up. Today I got email saying sorry no stock. I can’t order it now since it’s back in full price. If online was in stock, shouldn’t they get it to store and I pick up from there? Isn’t that what stores do? Otherwise, they shouldn’t let me order pick up so I could just get online shipping. Any store rep here can honour my order and Process my order again?
