        • Officeworks has a pretty solid policy that they will sell for the same price whatever the sales channel (at least they did when I worked there). Might seem illogical, but they are simply maintaining their policy. They don't want to advantage a particular sales channel over another.

      • +7

        Lol, that is ridiculous reasoning.

      • +2

They obviously don't give a shit about their customers and don't want them to get a good deal.

      • +2

Poor form by Officeworks and not much of a sale in my opinion.

      • Woah. That statement should be reported to the ACCC for investigation!

    • +1

Shibuya I feel your disappointment! It happened to me too! If the 10% discount is covered by eBay then I don't understand why they did this.. mean OfficeJerks :(

    • +1

How bizarre. Is this code for "we don't want out staff hassled instore for price matching with eBay"?

  • Can you combine this with another coupon like the bing lee one.

    • You can't combine coupons on Ebay

  • +1

Keep an eye on this to see if they drop to match JB or HN https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Samsung-1091003764-Galaxy-No…

Looking for a new iPhone 6/6s (cheap) from a honest seller. Any suggestion?

    • +1

FYI dont get a 6. IOS 11 runs like a dog on 6. 6S is the new minimum.

      • +4

        My dog runs pretty quickly.

My dog doesn't operate iOS very well though.

    • Any decent iPhone 6s seller? I already can see the price jacked up.

      • Amaysim eBay store

  • Can't find anything to buy. The $75 minimum spend is a bit restrictive.

    • +2

      You should buy a watch.

Not a bad deal on the -
      Casio MDV106 ~AU$73.66 shipped $74.99 shipped
Just need to find something else to reach $75.00.

      • +1

Tempting. I have a citizen Eco-Drive that's vaguely similar. And two other watches. XD

Anyways nothing I want to buy, first world problems haha.

    • damm thats crap 10% off site wide but need to spend min $75 - that sucks

    • +1

Save your money then. 10% off is nothing special.

  • Thanks for post.
eBay banner says max $500 discount
    T&C's says $300

  • 10% better than nothing, items i bought were not price jacked so all good competition! Cheers ebay!

  • Ive got $80 worth of stuff in my cart (3 items) but its not letting me apply the code: "We can't apply this code until you reach the minimum order total"

    • is part of that $80 shipping? … It needs to be over $75 not including shipping…

      • Na:

        Subtotal (3 items):
        AU $80.76
        Posting to 3179:
        AU $0.59
        Total:
        AU $81.35

        • Odd, have you tried emptying your cart and then adding everything back in?

        • +1

          @FLICKIT: Ill try that.

Nope. Didnt work (We can't apply this code until you reach the minimum order total.)

EDIT: It was due to one of my items being on the exclusion lists (trolley bag)

  • Nice. I got a vacuum cleaner head and a butterfly sticker.

  • Looks like Amazon sucked eBay in with their fake launch.

    • eBay sales have been around for a long time now.

    • I don't think Amazon ever officially launched anything, and they never gave a hard launch date to their sellers. It was all just assumptions made by other people, including media.

  • Anyone know why the code might not be working for me? I have 3 items in my cart with the most expensive being $69.95

    • The $75 minimum spend doesn't include postage, could that be the issue?

      • Nope:

        Subtotal (3 items):
        AU $80.76
        Posting to 3179:
        AU $0.59
        Total:
        AU $81.35

    • +1

are you buying anything on the exclusions list?

also whats the complaint it gives when you put in the coupon code?

      • +1

Yes it was because I had a trolley bag in there which is in the exclusions. Oh well.

    • +1

mod should delete this post - its a duplicate from your one above ..

  • Where is 15% off lul? Everyone hoping for 20% off sitewide one day….

  • officeworks stopped on ebay trading at this event

  • Does anybody know how to purchase an item that requires the seller to send you an invoice and still get the 10% discount?

  • What's the general consensus as to if the 10% off everything today will/won't be bettered on Monday?

  • +5

Here's how they should have done the promo code.

Black Friday is here and we have the best sale going round! Check out our every-day amazing deals, now with an extra 10% off STORE WIDE! It's the Amazing One folks, and to celebrate the Amazing One day sale, use the special code that we've generated using the words AMAZING and ONE. Use code 'AMAZON' to save 10% today only!

  • +1

Excellent, had a bunch of stuff I was about to buy anyway, saved a good $25 :)

  • +1

    Doesn't seem to work now.

    • yeah expired! did it have an expiry date or just a limited use?

      • No idea mate but it's kind of shit these black friday deals literally run out at midnight instead of extending til Cyber Monday.

        • Chill bro…

    • +2

Midnight … AEST it seems. Those of us in WA with a full cart will just have to wait for Amazon.

      • I did check the time AEST… but daylight savings is on at the moment. So it was AEDT. And I missed out haha

    • +2

Well that's silly, cashrewards showed (and still is as of this comment) that it expires 27/11/2017.

Nevermind. After viewing details, it notes:

"Important: This offer may end at any time at the discretion of eBay and whilst we endeavour to remove this offer from Cashrewards upon expiry, there may be a short delay, during which time the coupon may no longer be valid."

  • +2

Hot damn, didn't realise it was going to expire tonight.

  • +2

Crap, was going to buy a few things, but thought I'd sleep on it then add more things to my cart, didn't realise it was one day only.

  • +3

Yeah, bit of a shame as it's not easy to fit in a shopping spree with eBay and everyone else on Black Friday after a long days work. eBay didn't get any of my money but would have if it was on until Sunday.

  • +2

Damn i didn't realize this ended at midnight :(

  • I tried buying something last night and I got stopped in the checkout as the seller had to manually do the shipping component. Tried to complete it today after the seller put shipping in, but the code won't apply.

Not sure if this was a deliberate ploy by the seller (as they have shipping costs clearly stated on their website) or just bad luck and timing. Now it says I'm committed to buy this even though the price has changed. I guess I'll message the seller.

Just thought it something for others to be aware of with the next ebay site wide discount.

  • Okay guys…… I just chat to the ebay rep…. apparently, PANTONE code is still active!!

I bought something today and I pointed to the rep that the T&C page is still up but I couldn't apply the voucher. It took a bit for the rep to check but he responded by saying that the promo is indeed still active!

But he couldn't figure why I couldn't use the code. So he asked me to pay full amount and proceeded to manually return my 10% to my paypal account. It will take 5-7 business days to appear in my paypal but he already confirmed its been processed.

I'm not sure if they gonna fix it anytime soon, but if you really keen you may need to hassle the ebay rep.. though it may possibly choke the line for everyone.

    • Just tried with this phone deal I missed out on Friday by 1 minute…
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/344839

Entering 'Pantone' code says that it has expired…

      • ebay rep admit there's error with applying code. But he confirmed it is actually still active.

I can post confirmation from my chat with the rep but not sure how to upload picture in this site. If anyone can direct me I can post a pic to confirm
