  • Gah! I just bought a smart switch gen5 for $65 since I couldn't justify paying $99 for the smaller 6. :(

Unfortunate, but you're missing out on a RGB LED and a USB port.. if you're hiding it anyway, I wouldn't be too upset.

Jesus murphy.. any room on Aeotec nano switches/dimmers?!

    • +2

      • One of your competitors in this promotion is doing the nano dimmers for $80. Can you do anything to match that? Thanks either way

  • Any deals on Vera Plus or are you getting Secure?

  • Your green banner on your website has a 404 error for the sale page

    • Thank you, all fixed now

Yeah, would be all over nano dimmers like a politician on a citizenship clearance.

  • Bugger, just got a garage door controller last week!

Also, keen for nano dimmers/switches :)

    • Lol, mine arrive three days a go as well. :)

  • Ditto on the dimmers.

For what it's worth - it looks like there's Z-Wave sales across the board - linked from Aeotec.com

I'd say wait until tomorrow and check out the other sellers of Z-Wave products

  • Anyone used the Aeotec 2 Button Wallmote / 4 Button version?

Something to be aware of with the Aeotec SmartSwitch 6 (and previous Gen5) is that they take up more than half of the space in a double powerpoint. Their pictures of a bunch of SmartSwitches next to each other in a powerboard mislead me to thinking that they were quite thin. I recently bought a couple of the TP-Link HS100 switches. They're so wide that you can't use the next powerpoint, let alone two of them side by side. I'd hoped that these would be different, but it's not the case.
