Also don't forget to sign up to Shipster for free delivery of purchases over $25, as it's normally a $55 minimum spend :)

Just remember they don’t accept change-of-mind returns for anything sold this weekend. Not even for store credit. As per the return policy listed on their website.

      • What? As in cotton on isn't accepting returns? Can you link me to that please…

        • +1

doesn't say anything about store credit but according to their Returns and Exchanges page:

Excluded items (for change of mind returns):
          - Underwear
          - Earrings
          - Cosmetics
          - Gift Cards
          - Sale/Clearance
          - Seconds
          - Personalised product

        • @blablabla23: Sorry, what i meant was - they won't even give you store credit for a change of mind, which is highly unusual for such a large online clothing retailer. So shop carefully!

        • +1

@blablabla23: You should be able to return the items bought on the weekend though which was 30% off promotion.

          As per their policy:
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A 'SALE' AND A 'PROMOTION'?

Sale and clearance items are those which have been marked down either permanently or temporarily. Sale and clearance items cannot be returned for a refund or exchange, as per our Return and Exchange Policy.

Promotions are temporary offers such as a percentage discount off full-priced items, ‘Spend and Save’ offers, or ‘Buy One Get One’ discounts. Items purchased as part of a promotion are eligible for a refund or exchange, providing the return meets the conditions in our Return and Exchange Policy.

        • @minniethemoocher: pretty sure 30% off still counts as 'sale'.

      • Interesting. Wondering if returning due to wrong size consider change of mind?

        • I haven't shopped at Cottonon for a while but from recollection it is in reference to "clearance" items that fall into the sales/clearance tab online or at one of their outlet stores. That being said I recall (a while back) they had no issues with me changing the item I purchased at an outlet store for something else in store on the day. I've also exchanged stuff during storewide sales with no issues at normal stores…

They have pretty good customer service so I think a change of size would not be an issue??

        • Nice. sounds good to me. cheers. Hopefully I don't need to exchange anything for the ones I've purchased tonight.

  • I also notice subscribing to the newsletter gets 20% off your first order. Don't expect it to stack with the 10% off though may work well on these sale items.

    • Says full price only. Will try

Update: 20% code won't work on promo items :(

  • omg so sad should've waited :(

    also 10.5% cashback CR

  • Oh darrn it, could've saved 15 dollars if I had waited :)

I bought the same jean a few days ago at 30% off, now it's 40% off but still the same discount price. I reckon you didn't miss anything.

      • +1

Yeah :) after re-calculating, I think the difference is much less ($5-6). Oh well, such is life as an ozbargainer.

        • +1

Shoot them an email. Apparently they've been refunding the difference.

        • I got a cold heartless 'too bad, no refund' from them.
Must've depend on who u got to respond to u

Why Cotton on, didn't bite yesterday thinking the pants I want will further reduce for cyber Monday but it's gone back up to full price.. This is the Ozbargain life… lol

    • +1

  • I ordered on Thursday when the sale first started. No luck getting the extra 10 percent for me as they said the BLACK10 code didn't start till Saturday.

      Reported to the mods.

      • First time offender, please go easy on me :(

      • +2

Next time it will be bikies….

    • I probably bought the exact same pair for my bf. Paid 20 bucks a couple of months ago and now listed as $8.98 :/

  • Simpsons iPhone 6 cases for $1.35 is a solid deal if you’re buying stuff anyway (7/8 will be $3.60) https://cottonon.com/AU/shaped-silicon-phone-cover-6/140306-…

  • trying to buy something but its not working

    • Oh wow that's helpful. Maybe try to do this, click the button or buy something else?

You'd have to pay me to shop at cotton on. Lel.

  • I've been trying to order these Cotton On deals since yesterday but cannot get it to work. When I click "Place Order Now" it thinks about it for a few seconds then just takes me back to the cart page. I've tried Chrome & Edge on Windows lappy and the stock Samsung browser & Chrome on my Android phone. Same thing happens on all of them. Tried Incognito Mode, no difference. So frustrating I can't get the deal :(

    • I had that when trying to use the same code for a second time, it would kick me back to the cart and up the price, because it said codes weren't valid twice.

      • It's not that, I haven't used the code before. It lets me apply the code successfully, but when I go to check out it just returns me back to the cart with no error message. I have even tried not using the code but the same thing happens.

        • Annoying site. No further ideas.

        • +1

@Chik5555: Super annoying. I had even contacted their support yesterday, they asked me for details then said they would "escalate it to our IT section" or some such. Haven't heard back from them since. I have the Amex deal registered on my card, this would have been a great deal. I have spent a lot of time/effort/frustration but now is time to give up and cut my losses.

    • I had the same problem as you did. Have been trying since yesterday and payment was not going through. Tried one last time just now, and it finally went through. The only thing I did differently this time was type in my billing address from scratch instead of relying on the automatic address search. I am not sure if this is the solution or a mere coincidence but give it a go and see if it works for you.

Edit to add: the codes I used were all valid so that wasn't an issue.

      • Thanks. I had typed in my billing address once before to change it to a different one than the shipping address. Good to know someone had the same problem but got the order through. I'll keep trying.

    • Try using a different email address.

      • Thanks, good idea I'll give that a crack.

      • yep, after much frustration and trial error agree the site definitely links your email address to the code and only lets you use the code once per email. had to do 6x transactions for amex cashback. in the end used the gmail trick to get around the email restriction and that fixed the issues i was having getting booted from payment screen back to checkout

        • No I am not having that issue at all, it's nothing to do with the codes it's an unrelated problem (see comments above). I have not used the code before…I actually have never made a transaction on their site since it never lets me process it. I have tried 3 different email addresses. I have tried processing a transaction without even using any codes, the same problem occurs.

  • the stuff I bought yesterday went back up to full price :O

  • +1

Bought 8 items in total for $64.67 (also used the AMEX $20 offer and CR, so that should make it less than $40?)

    Great prices on these two:

    Women's Long Sleeve Fitted Top (Black/ White for only $1.50) : https://cottonon.com/AU/every-day-long-sleeve-fitted-top/202…

    Men's Trippy Slim Trackie ($8.98): https://cottonon.com/AU/trippy-slim-trackie/9351533564172.ht…

  • are refunds free?

  • their usual OFFERS within KIDS (such as 2 t's for $20) isn't working and the price is coming up as full price at checkout

  • +1

Just a reminder you can use the Amex offer up to two times. Wish I'd remembered that before I ordered once….

    • Time for a second order

  • I can not find where the hell to put in the code…..

    • Edit your cart, and it should be on the top right.

You can't enter the code on the payment screen.

  • Is the cashback tracking instant? Or does it take days?

    • Near instant.

    • +2

mine hasn't showed up yet.. although it does show on click history…

      • Me too

    • Made 4 orders but cashrewards didn't track even one. The tm Lewin did track though so I'm emailing cashrewards if the cotton on ones still dun show by next week

  • Note that gift cards bought in-store can only be used in-store.
Also these Black Friday/Monday Cotton On deals are online only.
