Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB SM-920i with Band28 (Brand New, Unlocked) $299.99 AUD @ PhillipDi.com

666

MOD: This offer was originally listed as "Au Model", however might be overseas stock, not sourced directly from Samsung Australia, and might not have warranty from Samsung Australia.

Hi guys Phillip Di here I hope you are well.

I have started my own website phillipdi.com off the eBay store Phillipdi to break free from the eBafia and pass the fee savings onto you!

I accept payments by Paypal and BTC.

Here comes the full Australian Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-920i), band 28! Brand New in the box and 2 year warranty
https://www.phillipdi.com/product/new-unlocked-samsung-galax…
The Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-920i costs $20AUD more than the SM-920v because they are harder to find and the guys in the PRC and HK can charge what they want but if you want B28 it’s the way to go.

Here is the band list: 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,17,18,19,26 and 28
(LTE Cat6 700/800/850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100/2600)
See full here https://www.frequencycheck.com/models/jO8qv/samsung-galaxy-s…

I am in negotiations for a band 28 S7 SM-930i price to offer to you guys but they aren’t giving any good prices in the market at the moment.

If you want to know the extremity’s I go to too test my phones for fakes see here
https://www.phillipdi.com/2017/11/21/fakes-testing-process-p…
Also check out the perfect small gifts for Christmas/New Years.
Here are some Tie Clips:
If you go into a suit shop now they charge something like $15 for one of these and it’s often the same/similar, I know, I supplied a few suit shops.
Style 1 Gold & Silver – I wear one personally
$1.31 from HK
https://www.phillipdi.com/product/best-man-silvergold-tie-cl…
$2.63 from Australia - I wear one personally

Style 2
$1.31 from HK - I wear one personally
https://www.phillipdi.com/product/honey-bear-luxury-mens-sil…
$2.62 form Australia - I wear one personally
https://www.phillipdi.com/product/aus-honey-bear-luxury-mens…
Another Gift is the “old man” Safety Razor kid with 10pcs platinum blades, I have used it personally since 2013 when a friend asked me to get him one.

It uses Dorco blades which make 2/3 of dollar shave clubs blades and they only cost 10 cents each.

This is a good option for sensitive skin as it only has one blade so you get much less razor burn but you can cut yourself on these if your not careful (it was named the safety razor in another time haha). There are many other blade options too you don’t have to stick with Dorco, if you have thick hair BIC Chrome Platinum are perfect, Dorco are just stock and work for most people.

Sent from HK
https://www.phillipdi.com/product/nanje-old-man-safety-razor…
Sent from China it takes 11-35 days
Sent from Australia it takes 5-7 days
Pro tip! When paying with Paypal never use their currency converter! Its bad! REALLY Bad! Its much better get a 3% international transaction fee (which Citibank and Macquarie won’t charge) than it is to accept Paypals rates, so pay attention when your on paypals website :D

Okay thanks for the response. Look I dont mean to be a prick and I get youre starting out here, but what do you do in the event that Samsung Aus rejects the warranty and the customer comes back to you? Again I dont mean to put you in a tight spot and your prices are certainly very good and I would definitely consider buying from you but in the end this is a very probable situation. Id say youre right though because they will just repair the device but if for some reason they dont what your plan of action?

        • +2

hey mate cheers, I have been in business for a bit it's just the Website that's starting out, what I was unable to do effectively at the start of my post was address the warranty question comprehensively, if Samsung were to reject it then it would be covered under my 2 year warranty.

The warranty was not brought up effectively earlier because its something I never had to deal with on eBay, no one ever asked me about it so I assumed the people here would see it as the same as eBay rights/rules but with a 5-12% discount

        • +1

@phillipdi: Righto fair enough, good luck with your site and thanks for the comprehensive response.

      • +2

With all due respect, how do we know if you will still be around for the "2 year warranty offered by me" if you have only just started this business?

And your comments come across like you are better than, and know more than, your target audience. I can't speak for everyone, but you also sound desperate, like perhaps you have invested a great deal of money in this deal, and do not understand why people are hesitating to buy. Ozbargainists are smart. Show some respect and give clear, concise and to the point answers that they can trust. They will not be misled easily!

        • +1

          yea of course.

First I'm not new, simple as that, eBay for two years and I have been doing business for 3 years before that so 5 years total, https://abr.business.gov.au/SearchByAbnHistory.aspx?SearchTe…

I operate by the drop shipping method meaning I have not invested any money in it

I am however egear to get my deals out before the exchange rate changes, the RBA has been going at lowering the AUD for a while and I hear they are going to go for a renewed push after the holidays, the ultimate aim 1AUD= 0.50 USD which would not make it profitable, also its difficult to express tone across on here so if I sound pius I'm sorry, perhaps my bad writing and defense against allot of critical people

        • @phillipdi: Yep, fair call. Appreciate your honesty and explanation. All the best with your business.

  • If its grey import, not interested at all.

    • Its a Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-920i model, the Australian model with Band 28 for Telstra and Optus and APT countries.

So Its covered by my 2 year warranty, by Paypal's buyer protection and I have had no issue returning it to Samsung in the past because it's the Australian model but it is imported. Hope you have enough to decide

      • Nps, happy to make a purchase for the S7 if u have?

        • I could not secure a S7 that was Sm-920i I only got SM-930v's which are not band 28 at this stage

  • Can link me the exact gsmarena or phone arena page so I can compare it against some other phones in this price category using their compare feature.

    Cheers thanks.

  • +1

I'm sorry you're having a hard time here Phil. But this is Ozbargain !!!

We want the cheapest price, with full manufacturing warranty, full 2 years warranty from (semi)well known retailers (which you are currently not).

then we'll non chalantly comment on your delivery fee. If it is above $10, forget it. I am not buying.

then there are always some nitpicks asking about Band 28. Even if you're selling refrigerators and whatnot, tell them about the goddamn Band 28 please !!

Good luck though. Take $5 from me, and I'll make you bend over for it.

    • haha you sound like me, but it is B28, it is the cheapest price I can find anywhere and free and express shipping, and I have been in business for 5 years but yea you haven't heard of me so your thinking how do I trust this guy? But then again your paying by paypal, you can check my ABN, whois my domain's and look at the competition.

  • Does Kogan mobile use band 28?

    • yes and they also use band 34

      • Nope Kogan.com Costs $169aud more and under "4G Network" it says "900 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600"
        Band 28 is 700Mhz.

        https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/samsung-galaxy-s6-octa-core-4g-…
But best of luck getting a clear "these are our bands" from them or a reply from them

        • Oh sorry I meant Kogan mobile plans not the phones from Kogan. Crap I should have made that cleared.

Am thinking of going on Kogan mobile 6gb unlimited calls and texts plan for $205.60 for 365 days and am wondering which phone I should use with it.

My current choices are Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and now this (the Samsung Galaxy S6 32gb SM-920i with Band28).

Am most likely sticking with the Xiaomi for now because mine has 4gb RAM and 64gb storage but Samsung luxury is nice.

        • @AlienC: well Kogan uses vodaphone's network so if you want to save $20 get my SM-920V, but if you go to telstra later you won't get band 28

        • @phillipdi: ah ok cheers thanks this was the answer I was looking for.. much obliged

      • @juventino can you send me the link?

        • +1

i was just kidding. I just added some random numbers for the band since everyone is asking for it

bought a bunch of lettuce and it comes equipped with band 42.

      • +1

Thanks for your correction, are you able to share your experience on "Samsung Returnable based on my experience returning them", been working at Samsung from GS3, never hear about that policy (apply to overseas stock)

        • -2

So Your with the Samsung mafia why am I not suprised?
First things first its an SM-920i model, you can call Samsung directly, second tell me how much you try to charge your suppliers for 10pcs Samsung Galaxy S6's? Still $650 each?

  • is your website down?

    • hahaha it might have crashed? I'm on it thanks for the heads up

    • Fixed

  • Are thesw open-box? Especially if you test them?

    • Re-sealed but I can't test them all you can just go with random sampling and weighing etc.
Its been over 2 years now without issue

  • Hi Phil, I have a suggestion for you. Can you source the Samsung S8 LED view cover quickly and cheaply?
With so many people here taking up the Telstra S8 deal, I am sure many will want the cover.
I was disappointed by phonebot as they don’t have enough stock and issuing refunds:

    • Hi mate I had a look and I can't get anything of that quality, cases are a funny business, they only want to show you the good stuff after you have been through the ranks of buying silicone ones, and then silicone with something else etc

  • +1

Has anybody bought from Phil before care to comment?

  • Had a look at your site, I must be blind, but I cant find a menu to just look at phones or other categories.
I just see 33 pages, which I'm not going to go through one by one.

    • 33 pages? What browser are you on? There's the search function where you can put "phones" and the phone category will show up as well as a list of phones

  • Phil the quality, gave me a good chuckle

    • thanks man

  • +1

I'm prepared to give you a go, missus ordered a v series white S6 phone from your ebay the other day, I'll post back with some information about how it is after it arrives.

  • approx how long delivery thanks…
    Quicky answer appreciated

    • DHL 7-10 days, China Shipping 11-35 (because its chrismtas period)
Please note we just had black friday and the christmas rush so everythings delayed by a day or so.

  • Just so I am clear. The phone is in Australia and you are charging $39.49 for freight. Seems way expensive
Also, what is expected delivery to 4507 postcode (Qld)

    • Hey mate its in Hong Kong have I written Austrlaian? Its the Australian model not in Australia.
Shipping is free by china post and $30usd by dhl express 7-10 days

      • +1

Your website doesn't seem to allow me to switch shipping methods. It just stays on DHL. If I tick the China Shipping box the total doesn't update.

  • Does the S6 phone come with the original box and contents like what I would buy an outright one from a local store?
Sorry, it might have already asked previously and too many comments, didn't read.

    • Yes in the box with the charger, headphones and cables etc

  • Hey guys, some people are telling me they are getting charged the AUD amount in USD, please check before you purchase, one thing to try is to revert the price to USD when you reach the checkout page

  • How do i pay in btc. I dont see any options.
Ready to order if conversion is right. Please note procedure.

    • You put it in your cart, then you put your address etc when you have filled your cart and then click on pay by btc, see here
      https://i.imgur.com/MjmvD2d.png

  • Your currency option is not working.

    • The currency converter has been fixed, please make sure that on the cart page the currency converter remains in USD (it should revert when you get to the cart), this is so you are not charged the converted AUD price in USD, some buyers have reported that issue

  • Ordedr placed and paid via Bitcoin for
    Leanne H…
    Approx ETA thanks

    • as mentioned, the ETA is 11-35 days for free shipping and DHL is 7-10 days :)

      • Is there a way to call you. I placed a order for Leanne H. She was not aware that I placed the order and you guys called her and confused the Fxxx out of her. I need to confirm the order and if anything else needed.

        • You put Leanne's name and number on the contact details, we asked her about the order and she had no idea about it, We were the confused ones… Yes I will PM you my number. Pro Tip, when ordering for someone else put YOUR number there

        • @phillipdi:
Please Confirm if phones are dispatched and tracking number thanks

        • @australiabpo: As I said in the emails YES, I'm getting the tracking numbers from the warehouse as we speak, we allready had a few arrive on Wednesday

  • Hi Pillip,

Your lack of communication is quite startling. My order was placed on December the 1st and i still have no word on the where about's of my phone. Paid the extra money for DHL shipping as well.

    • Did you get the updates from our system saying 1. The order was sent? We even sent an email to all our buyers with an update today, can you check your spam folder please?
PM me with any questions and your order number please

      • Also keep in mind, I get emails from people on a Saturday/Sunday at 6pm and I do my best to reply but at some point I do need to rest

      • The only status I've had is "Order Complete". No shipping details have been provided

        • Right, we did send an email today, can you please PM me and send me your order ID?

  • Has anyone received your order? I ordered mine a couple of days ago and it says the order is completed. However, I did not receive any shipping information.

    • Hi mate, please shoot me an email on the contact form of the website, I need your order number.
ETA with dhl is 7-10 days HOWEVER! It has to pass customs which is harder with lithium batterys and the biggest thing is we are in the middle of the chirstimas rush, EVERYONE is last minute shopping right now and paying by express, its taking packages 2-3 days to get on a plane.

Also, we had to replace the battery's on some of the phones to give to the DHL broker (who we have to use for dangerous cargo), we needed to provide documentation that the phone battery's were after the Samsung recall www.trustedreviews.com/news/samsung-galaxy-s6-reportedly-exp… (which they were, but who has the papers on their batteries?).

So we replaced them because Samsung china told us they were not Chinese models and there was nothing they could do other than to go through the recall process which took this guy 2.5 months https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Galaxy-S-Phones/S6-Edge-… or just put a new one in ourselves, we did that, and you still have our battery and it was all replaced professionally.

Some we just had to open to see the serial numbers on the battery's so we could pull up the papers on them from the manufacturers, I HATE phones that don't have removable backs!

      • Not sure if this is real or not. I've never heard that the non-replaceable battery in a phone needs to be taken out to check its serial number. I'm sure that Samsung can just check it with just the phone's serial number. But I'm actually ordered a S7. As a seller, lack of providing updates regarding order status, I'm getting doubtful

        • ahh, i don't have your order ID so I can't see.
And its for the broker, you can see the articles and we all know about the replacement, it won't effect you.

Might I just say your a seller, which is interesting and your saying my service is lacking, and yet you have not even given me a valid order number? Not sure if this is real or not, but like I said can you please send me your ORDER NUMBER on the contact page, cheers

        • If your the buyer I'm thinking of I have sent you a email.
ALSO We are sending from our phillipdi.com domain, please check your Junk folder for our emails

  • +1

    Buyer beware!

    • +1

Yes indeed . The seller is dragging and provide lots of excuses. I do not have confidence anymore getting my stuff from him.

      • The 1st check was his eBay page. https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/phillipdi

        96% rating is not good.

Going through his 5 posts, he genuinely has no customer service, and clearly has a god complex.

        • Contacted him and no response

        • @spkh: I'm still waiting on my order that should have arrived around the 4th of December. Have contacted the seller and hopefully I'll hear back soon

        • @BadHorse: when did you placed the order? Looks like we will have to wait forever

        • @spkh: I placed mine just before the end of November. Rep got back to me within an hour, so he was pretty responsive.

  • +2

Got our S6 from him in the post today. Everything in good order, boxed, etc. Took just over 3 weeks.

  • +1

for those that have been messaging me asking if I received product. here is update.

I bought and paid for 2 phones on 6 Dec with $40 fast freight directly asking if the freight times were real as I needed as Christmas present.

    as of 25th Dec
    I have no invoice
    I have no tracking number,
    I have no phones.

I had no choice but to go and buy replacements for my kids Christmas presents.
as I have been give zero feedback I now ask for refund and he asked me to return the replacement Christmas presents as he will not.

oh. he actually gave me tracking number today dispute saying he couldn't give one weeks ago as he had to call someone else to track.

    in short. don't bother here…
you might as well come and buy mine. As HOPEFULLY THEY WILL ARRIVE AND MAYBE I'LL HAVE SPARE.

    • +1

Open a case in PayPal which I will too

      • do you have an order with us? Whats your tracking number?

        • You did not provide me any tracking number! My order is #2579 for a S7. You are not responsive to my queries.

    • -1

This guy I gave him the tracking number over a week ago he seems to be ignoring that fact, second, invoices are automatically generated by woocommerce and sent to you when you make the order! everyone knows that so I don't know what your talking about on that front.

Since your order you changed shipping methods and the order quantity TWICE, you put someone ELSES contact details on the order so I could not even speak to you directly.
This is the tracking number I sent to you today, it got re-generated when I had to CALL BACK the package to adjust it multiple times on your orders.

      http://www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking.html?AWB=3270183011&b…

By the time it got through customs and everything after your changes it was the 23rd of December.

      • On 6th of december I Ordered 1 Phone that had a option of free freight. Immediately after you said to take the higher rate Freight as it was faster. And I immediately then BOUGHT AND PAID FOR THE 2 PHONES with $40 freight within 1 hour.. I also discussed with you that I could only buy them if they were processed and dispatched within 24 hrs

At that time, You knew I needed by CHRISTMAS, you had FULL PAYMENT, EXACT ADDRESS, EMAIL CONTACT AND FAST FREIGHT PAID. and regular follup from me asking what is going on..

I am yet to see a invoice program that cant resend a invoice at a push of a button. Every time I ask, you ask for a order number that I never received.

        • Mate, everyone got an order number, EVERYONE, if you did not get an order number you must have put the wrong details in, have you simply tried to LOG into the website?

I'm starting NOT to believe that you puchased anything from me. Look at it from my perspective, its like going up to coles/Woolworths saying you got something but you don't have a recipt.

If you can send me any details about your order please PM them too me and I can try find it.

        • @phillipdi: You have provided me a DHL tracking number which does not belong to me! DHL website says it is delivered to someone else! My order is #2579 and it still shows as on hold on your website

  • +2

Warning buyers! I ordered a S7 but received a knock off one. First of all, the S7 that I received is locked with pattern and I am unable to unlock it. Secondly, there are gaps between the glass display and metal frame and for sure it is not IP68 rated like original Samsung S7. Thirdly, earphones, USB cable and charger aren't high quality. The cables and the plastic shells of the earphone are rough. Fourthly, low quality manual printout and lots of smudges! Fifth, material of the box is low quality unlike usual Samsung's box. This is a counterfeit product! Do not buy from this deceitful seller! You should have specifically mentioned "replica" on your title!

    • Pm me about this, that does not sound right

      • I have messaged you. The phone you sold is already rooted and not genuine as what you claimed!! Please just take the phone back and do a full refund!

        • Hey mate, and I am replying, were working it out, we only sell genuine phones it sounds like it was damaged in transit, your the only one to have this type of problem, you should probably wait until the dispute is over before getting a refund

        • @phillipdi:

          damaged in transit

A phone became counterfeit during transit?

        • @IceCreamBandit: I am sending the phone back to Philip. I am not sure how this happened. Once he receives the phone and confirm further.

        • @spkh:

Good luck! Hope you get a refund or the phone that you paid for :)

        • +1

@IceCreamBandit: Stolen/Switched (its happened twice before too me) BUT we ran a test on Anatut and it pulled over 100k, that tells me its not a fake because if your going to make a fake you would put cheaper parts.

I saw a few fakes in HK and CN and to determine I weighed them (were lighter), ran Anatutu (pulled 19k), Flashed them with stock Samsung software (would not boot on Odin) so I knew they were fakes and I avoided those merchants and went to more reputable ones.

I am betting more along the lines of got damaged because the issues were to do with the casing coming out about 1 mil (I almost did not notice it), as a result some other issues arose that the buyer mentioned so were going through with a return and refund.

        • +1

@phillipdi: Phillip made a full refund to the S7 phone that I bought. Although I paid for the postage to send the phone back to him in NSW, it's a small amount. Overall, I can say he is a responsible seller.

        • @spkh: Thank's mate, I got it back and I'm happy to make a video about it but I don't see the same issues. I see the issue around the screen looking raised by about 0.1 mill but the headphone jack worked 100% when I tested it on my normal pair. I did see the line on the front, this leads me to suggest it was particularly manhandled
