      It'll take a lot longer than that for the last DVD-only technophobes/retirees to die off.

      I'm not betting on 4k streaming quality improving to 1080p blu-ray quality in the next 5 years either, not at typical Australian internet speeds…

      Yeah, didn't work for me either.
      Is this for a particular state, or maybe it's only the Kiosk that replaces the Hoyts that you can use this code?

        Im thinking you could be right.
        Wait and see who gets lucky on this and why they did.
        The only 2 hoyts kiosks i know have video ezy kiosks already within 15 metres so maybe i will not get much love from this code.

    I received a Hoyts kiosk email on Friday giving me two free rental codes for Hoyts, expire 21st Dec. A couple of hours later I received another email from Hoyt's kiosk saying that my local machine will be going soon, replaced by a video ezy machine, here's $10 (it's the code the op has posted).

    Why did they bother sending me a Hoyts code… if I borrow something tomorrow and then the machine disappears how would I return the DVD … can it be returned to a video ezy machine??

    I haven't tried the code yet at my local video ezy kiosk.
