i would be interested to know how many people would buy this at $1.19 rather than $3.99.
A $2.70 discount is not a deal maker for me anyway.

However if it was free, well then i am sure there would be an uptake of the app, just cos its free

I happily paid $4 for this.. I havent tried any others (except the crappy built in one) but find it works well. Love the rain satellite image thingie.

    • I agree with oz-der, but then again I'm a cheap and never (NEVER) pay for apps :).

To me any app is not a bargain unless its free… yes yes I know that then its supposed to be called a 'freebie', but I dunno- with apps I just bring myself to pay anything. Ever.

  • fail, this app is gimped compared to others.

    • for neg vote you should mention the others you believe are better.

      • PWAU Lite

      • Well I dunno about PS3God, but I use pkt weather (I have no affiliation with this app). Nice interface, updates when opened so no excess data usage and not too exy. I found the native weather app pretty crap.

        • Personally I agree with you, Pkt weather is nice, I dont know about his one, as I am not going to buy a second that does similar to one I have already bought

In Melbourne, if I want to know the current weather, I look outside.
If I want a forecast, my guess is as good as theirs

      I look outside
I have an app for that.

    • Your guess is as good as theirs? Im gonna assume you're joking, because noone is that thick lol.

Most of these apps grab their data from BOM or similar websites/organisations, and thus is accurate as far as modern technology allows. Really theres very little distiction between all the weather apps, just the amount of information they grab for you, and ease of use.

    • lol best app eva!

I like Weatherzone, but too stingy to pay for it… :-) lol

However, you can get it free, kind of, by bookmarking their website, and you will be able to get most of the features, and if not, just access the desktop pages…

Just use Safari to look up the web site and save it to your phone… easy and doesn't cost

  • Well worth the $1.19. I was using PWAU Lite…
like systmworks said, the rain radar imaging is brilliant.
