25% off Select Keysets at Pimpmykeyboard.com Ends Dec 31st

40

Hey Everyone,

For my Mechanical Keyboard friends out there just found https://pimpmykeyboard.com/ is having 25% off select keycap sets.

These are on the upper spectrum of custom keycaps. And expect nothing but top quality. You get what you pay for.

If youre an enthusiast have a browse. For the uninitiated, be aware the caps themselves will cost more than most keyboards alone lol. Deep does the Mechanical Keyboard hole goes. I grabbed myself a High contrast granite set!

Anyways have a good one people.

Friend of mine has a collection of probably 30+ keyboards that are worth $150+ each.

    • I think you misunderstood. Those are keycaps! Keyboard not included.

No no, I replied to the ops these cost more then most keyboards line.

I personally would never buy custom caps when my keyboard already has some on it, but I'm sure others would use this sorta thing.

I'm not picky what it looks like as long as it does what I need.

        • Good money in buying limited edition keycaps… some custom ones you can buy for $60 EACH and sell for $300+. It's a weird hobby that I don't really understand but each to their own.

I might get custom caps, but most of these cost more than my keyboard!

There is actually a difference in feel and sound from cheap caps to expensive caps.

@onggie: I keep meaning to go mech keys but my g510 just won't die lol

    • Been an influx of affordable keebs out there of decent quality since the cherry mx patent ran out. Drevo keyboards are a great choice for getting the toes wet. Then if youre feeling spicy Ali express and ebay have "cheap" custom caps ranging from $30-50 shipped. Although they dont match the higher end boards I very much enjoy mine.

I ordered enough keys to fill an 84 key board. Not even a full set and it was $75 US + 15 shipping. $120 AUD, so yeh they cost more than most keebs. Which is a big pill to swallow for most when its just pieces of plastic haha.
