Looks like it is Swiss made.

    • +1

      Only the best from Zapals.

    • Chinese Swiss I am sure.

  • Shipping is 75 times more expensive than the product! Is this ebay!?

    • Gotta avoid the fees somehow..

    • Doesn't matter just look at bigger picture as of total. Do you mind $10 Ferrari with $10,000 shipping?

  • +8

Wonderful! This exquisite sophisticated timepiece cost three times as much in mid-October.

  • +6

last time i got one of these i literally threw it straight into the bin, just saying.

    • +5

We can try and tell them, but they just don't get it. These are just straight up landfill.

      • +2

The big dial makes you looked cool and fashionable.

I wanna looked cool and fashionable

      • +2

Still people will just look at the photos listing and buy it because cheap. Same with most kogan products I bought. Straight to bin.

    • +1

How bad are they? Despite how crap they look do they at least keep time?

      • +8

Guaranteed accurate twice daily. The subdials are literally painted on. Probably suitable to put inside large Christmas crackers.

        • +1

Lol damn, didnt think theyd suck that bad. Maybe its at least worth it for the band.

        • @thedude23: Maybe not. All Aliexpress listings for the PRC200 state it is faux or PU leather.

        • @thedude23: if you buy it later you know even the band is too ugly to keep.

        • +1

@dragonindespair: This is true. People upvote only because of the balaclava, really!

      • +1

If you need a cheap 20 mm leatherish band or something to put in a Christmas cracker…

      • +7

Just read the other posts of this watch. If someone on Ozbargain is willing to throw it straight in the bin, that should speak volumes.

        • +1

          Im pretty bogan tho

        • +1

@thedude23: then buy a fake gold Nixon :)

        • @ilikeit: Not that bogan hehe.

Im savin my pennies for a casio f-91w cos im broke atm (Xmas is a net loss for me…)

        • @thedude23: aka the 'Terrorist' watch. Great little watch - I have one. If you have a poke around you can G-Shock style ones for a little more that have an 8 year battery.

Also, try a Skmei digital from eBay or AliExpress for about $7. Mine keeps perfect time and I also swim in it with no worries.

        • @ilikeit: Yeh ive seen the skmei's about but for 3 bucks extra Ill just get the casio. Im waiting for the next decent ebay sale to get this casio and some other stuff, even if its after xmas.

Also the watch is innocent, much like balaclava :(. Not saying you did but its not its fault baddies used it for evil purposes just like the balaclava is used to protect you from the cold.

        • @thedude23: The World Timer is a good watch.

        • @thedude23:

Im savin my pennies for a casio f-91w

I know it's more than you want to spend, but this will last a lot longer & is a steal atm -
          Casio G-Shock Classic DW5600E-1V - US $42.86 (~AU $56.50) Shipped @ Amazon

It has a mineral crystal lens too, unlike the F-91W & AE1200WHD-1A.
Also the case of the AE1200WHD-1A is some kind of chrome plated plastic, so it may chip easily.
          See 2nd review here.

        • @ilikeit: Whys its called the terrorist watch? Did a terrorist rock one or something? EDIT its the Casio F-91W that was used as timer by al-Qaeda

        • @WatchNerd: Yeh I have no doubt that it would, but @ $10 even if they break I could buy 6 more.

Also yeh I know the AE1200WHD-1A has a plastic case but it would more of an weekend type watch to wear sparingly.

Spend a bit more and get a Naviforce. They are decent build quality with a Japanese quartz for $12-20.

    • +5

Love this one that i got from Zapals last time. Amazing for the price.

      • +2

That's pretty much Ozbargains favourite $10.00 analog watch.

    • But my Naviforce didn’t show a Correct time.

      • I don't own one…but it is a cheap Chinese watch, although depending on the model they do use Japanese Citizen (Miyota) and Seiko quartz movements and in some models, Citizen autos. The feedback on WatchUSeek for Naviforce is generally positive. Like most non-digital watches under $125, the price should be factored into your performance expectation.

$1 AUD shipping if you change the currency to AUD on the top-left

Waiting for @WatchNerds expert opinion. I wonder what the modding scene is like for these :-)

I wonder which Geneva its from?

Looks like I'm a bit late to the party & the comments above have said it all really, lol.

Also see this old post for my comments.

      • +2

Mate, you should get a watch with alarm;)

        • +7

Haha, the 200m on the dial means that water should be kept 200 metres away.

    • +4

You should really be waiting for chateau's comment. He has an incredible street-cred knowledge on Chinese watches.

  • +1

You have to love the fact you have to select a colour…
    <random>.

  • +1

I bought one of these from Gearbest, paid roughly $3 for it. The subdials are indeed just painted on the face. Had mine for a little while now and I can't complain for even $3, at least it's accurate for time telling. If you simply need a watch which tells you time (no day/date function), this is perfect for $1.04.

  • +1

    ffs…

    • +1

      Yes, wrong colour seconds hand.

  • +3

Decorative sub-dials are against God and man.

  • +1

can this watch be classified as a "statement" watch?

    • +1

Certainly. It's a statement every time it is posted on Ozbargain.

    • +1

Yes, similar to the statement made when you manage to shit yourself.

    • I think it says something about the wearer.

      • +2

Indeed. Anyone seen wearing this timepiece is instantly recognised as a long-standing Ozbargain member.

        • +2

Another of my secrets is out.
