inb4 'But Kogan Mobile', just kiddin Kogan Mobile has been giving most other mobile telcos a real run for their money.

  • For roughly the same price kogan offers 16gb/month.

  • Jeenee starts billing cycle upon order placement right ? Not from activation date ?

  • So it's a saving of $45 over a year… That's equivalent to $3.75 a month.

Given that it is applied as a credit after the first 3 months, during months 3-6, it is a bit pointless to say you get 3 months for $10. It is a 12 month contract which is discounted by $45, equating to $21.25/month, and $25 thereafter.

Mobile phone subscriptions are complicated enough, no need to make it worse. Next thing you know, we'll go back to the "get $2,500 call credit for $10" days.

Sorry, but this is not a great deal considering Optus has recently offered 15GB for $30 per month with Optus Sport included.

    • Yeh I was about to say the same thing.

The 12.5GB plan over 12 months works out at $28.25 per month.

for an extra $1.75 you can go on Optus and get an additional 2.5GB per month, unmetered netflix/abc/spotify/google music/stan/EPL and also 300 minutes of intl calls (instead of some strange $ amount with odd rates.

Kogan's currently $205.6 or $17.13 per month on the 6GB plan as well. A saving of $4.12 at a loss of some intl credit and 0.5GB of data.

  • Make it $10 every month, and I’ll rub your bottle.

  • Not the biggest issue but a small gripe with Jeenee.

I joined on a month to month plan with an offer of $5 off the first 6 months. In the third month, I noticed they hadn't deducted $5 off the first 2 bills. When I called, they said that I had to call to activate the offer before they started applying the credit to my bills. They also said they couldn't give me $15 off ($5 x 3 months) in my next bill, but they would start deducting the $5 in the third month onwards for 6 months. This put off the incentive to look for another mobile plan for 3 months which was irritating. Left early anyway, joined Kogan and haven't had any regrets.

This mob are dynamite on excess usage… hard to contact, don’t acknowledge TIO complaints or adequately explain credits and charges. The fine print also doesn’t explain if a hard data cap or not. Buyer beware, honestly I’d look elsewhere. An average provider who plays on the charity angle, but aren’t great value at all. 👎👎
