Postage is rip-off, but still cheaper than other places with it. Can you link somewhere cheaper?
Doesn't sound like such a good deal to me. Currently the cheapest buy it now price on ebay is $778 + $15 postage. Shipped from Hong Kong, in my experience they arrive in about 1 week.
I don't see how its worth spending $800 on a phone, you might as well just get a subsidised phone on a network. I do realize that this phone isnt in Aus yet though. Are people really going to be buying a phone like this and run it on prepaid?
You could run it on the $18 cap on TPG :) but yeah… I do agree it doesn't seem like much of a bargain

Why even get the Desire HD, I have an HD2 running Android for $320.

really not that good a price at all. plus postage is insanely high. can be found cheaper elsewhere, not a bargain.

The phone price and particularly the postage is insanely high.
This is most likely just UK stock which means you can get it cheaper at clove/handtec.
The local warranty could be useful, but you still have to send your phone somewhere.
