Any good deals for something 10,000mAh or so?

  • +7

any deals for the ZMI PD?

    • +1

Yeah, how's abt a ZMI deal to end all ZMI deals :)

Hate how they push you through to Paypal without the Delivery price, then the delivery price/delivery options are only added once you return to Gearbest. Seems like a deliberate attempt to fool newbies into already thinking the order has gone through, and they just have to accept the delivery price, whatever it is.

After you apply coupon, select Proceed to Checkout rather than Checkout with PayPal. You will see all the shipping options, and you can still pay with PayPal beyond this point.

On Gearbest when selecting currency to AUD and completing checkout will the transaction with bank go thru as AUD or USD?

Sorry for asking but I dont shop much on Gearbest and dont want to be charged foreign currency conversion fees :)
I know i should get me a CC without conversion fees lol

    • AUD, if it is in foreign currency and you are paying through paypal which you should be it will asked if you want to use their conversion anyway.

      • Thanks,
worked nicely and so far no foreign currency conversion fees :)

  • I see ZMI one is much more expensive. Is it worth to pay almost double?

If you want USB-PD which will be the future standard it is. If not and QC3/2.4a is fast enough for you then this unit is more than enough. It's a great product at a great price.

      • Thanks. I just missed one, code expired lol hope I can get next time.

        • +1

Code still worked for me just now. Maybe try again after login in and only one per account.

@ozhunter68: Oh yeah~ got it now. thanks :-)

        • @ssamba:

Enjoy this top powerbank. I paid $33 for it early this year and has been a great purchase.

  • may the arsepower be with you

Waiting for this deal, ordered one with insurance $33.79 and thanks.

  • Please can someone help me by verifying Gearbest to be a good source or not? I apologise for inconvenience in advance. Thanks

    • +4

yes , they’r good site for shopping if you can wait . I bought plenty from them so far , no problem , customer service is very fast in response.

      • Cool.
        Thanks for verifying.

I ordered a mobile phone, arrived well protected in 9 business days via the priority shipping line.

  • Thanks TA! You are the most powerful arse I know!

Mine arrived today for $1usd more than this, I love it.

  • Any deal on Mi Pro Power Bank 10000mAh? I think it would be more convenient due to the slim design.

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/344303 Check this. It's still valid.

Oh wait might be a different one to the one you're after? Not too familiar with xiaomi's powerbanks.

      • +1

they are actually confusing. I guess the Pro model charges a bit faster as it uses QC3.0. I just discovered a Pro version 2 model on ebay.

  • +1

    Thanks TA! fantastic product.

  • is this is the v1 or v2 ?

  • Do u pay in USD or in AUD?

  • Can you get me a deal on 2 Xiaomi 4x redmi? (3gb ram, 32gb storage) I tried contacting them with no luck :( they don't have any decent deals on… Would prefer to buy from them over lightninthebox….

    • Mate, get it from shopmonk it's decent price plus they use DHL express shipping I got mine in 3 days just a week ago.

      • Thanks they seem pretty reasonable… the only problem i can see is that it doesn't list the frequencies, looking at gearbest it would appear different models, and they each have different frequencies…

  • Will it ship without problem as Custom is pretty pretty pretty pretty strict with the battery related item shipment ?

I remember last time that this powerbank was on sale through TOMTOP , turned out the item havent arrived after 4 months. Figured out that the custom shipped the item back and they didnt refund whatsoever at all.

    • I bought 5 batteries through these Chinese website so far. All has arrived within time frame

  • Registered for an account just so that I can warn everyone that I got charged 7USD more than the stated Grand Total price of 24USD (incl shipping). Final price ended up being $40AUD. Not happy. Anyone knows why?

    • Either you had it on USD by default and or other shipping options than free shipping.

      • It said USD24 as the grand total (as stated in this post) right before I clicked pay. Once paid the price was changed to USD30+.

        • Code expired as you were checking out?

I'm always a bit anal with online payments over $20. I'll go through to payment and then cancel and repeat.

        • @Ravenousryan:

I thought of that. If that's the case then I must be one really unlucky bastard. Oh well… I'm trying to ask if I can still get the discount, got to try my luck. Otherwise I'll just suck it up.

  • Code expired 😐

    • I couldn't even use the code last night and I registered for an account.

One thing the manual does not mention but highlighted in the youtube reviews is doubleclicking the power button to put the battery into low power output (see 2:17 in first video, 1:54 second video)

  • Can anyone recommend a charger for the powerbank. Thanks
