      well technically its is a scam because you aren't getting a discount on normal prices that non ebay stores have. instead the discounts are on heavily jacked up e bay prices. This is a good deal but it could be much better if they didn't do that.

    The LG monitor shows up as $125 (not $90) so I'm a bit confused as to how it comes down to $90.

    $125-$12.5 = $112.5 (not $90)

    Same here and after a lengthy discussion with EBAY Chat am not getting anywhere with being refunded the difference in what it would cost me to reorder the items now. Meanwhile the cancellation message i received stated "We're sorry to let you know that futu_online cancelled your order and mentioned the reason as Buyer asked to cancel the order." Which was not correct. :-/

    I don't get why, if it's Ebay footing the 20%, why are the stores suddenly concerned about the 10% discount out of their own pocket when it's been going for God knows how long?

      I believe "selected seller" sales coupons are partly contributed to by the seller. Ebay foots the full bill only on category wide or ebay wide sales.

      Regardless, hopefully this will be big enough of a PR nightmare to make them think twice about pulling this sort of sh*t again. Boycott them for a month or two? Or is resistance futile?

    this is a matter for consumer affairs. They have advertised a sale, cancelled the orders stating out of stock, but continued selling the exact same items for full price. i told ebay i am contacting consumer affairs and they did not care one bit
