  • Great system. I bought mine in the JB Hifi deal. It's my third Harmony remote, and by far significantly better than anything that had come before it (for me at least).

This really complements my Amazon Echo dot. I'm pretty sure it works well with Google Home as well.

    • This is a first universal remote for me. Need to replace 5 other remotes. Hopefully won't be hard configuring everything.

      • There's quite a learning curve to the software, but once you've done the first one you'll be set.

    • Silly question, I assume this will only control IR devices and not RF?

      • +1

Yes. It works via RF, but only sends irDa signals.

        • Thanks, that's a bummer.

Wish someone made a uni remote that did both, want to control an RF mains switch and an RF ceiling fan as well as my IR devices.

        • +1

@Scab: The Broadlink RM Pro can control IR and RF gear. I don't think it works with a remote, but uses an app. It can also work in with Home Assistant etc.

    • Yep, it works a treat with Google Home, and it's super-easy to set up.

  • I bought this recently for $280 and thought that was a good deal! So this is a great price for it. Would highly recommend this remote if looking for a universal remote.

  • Shows $280 for me?

  • Expired already?

    • 10% discount gone. Still can use 20%.

  • Yup, Looks like 10% discount is gone now.

  • Buyer Beware.
FYI: Logitech kills cloud service for Harmony Link

I love my Logitech devices, the g15 to g19 to g25 to z5500 and all the numerous mice and keyboards and headsets I use/been using. And my only dealing with their customer support regarding a faulty control hub for the Z5500 was very positive. But going by the post and reports there, I'd be wary of buying cloud only supported products, specially by Logitech.
