  So glad I purchased the lifetime licence when it was $79.99 USD I really hate the subscription based models for applications like this.

    Agreed. Got lifetime plex for $99.99 in September. Apart from streaming to all connected devices, I don't really use the other plex pass features though… Still better than this yearly fee
