  Compared to the other OEMs, Hisense is pretty high quality.
  
  I spent some time in stores this week, this particular model is not as vibrant as the N7+ series or the Samsung's at significantly greater cost.

That was exactly the consideration I had to make. As it will primarily be the spare/casual television in our house.
