Hi Ozbargainers, first post here. I have been following the price of the LG G6 for a while now. Just noticed the price from Harvey Norman has came down to $618. For anyone like myself still holding on the Amex offer https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/340003, $518 is a great price for this device.

Not sure about when the deal will end, but I think it is part of the boxing day sale.

The LG G6 was LG's flagship device from early this year, for anyone looking for cheap alternatives to Samsung Galaxy S8, this is a good device. Plus it also has a headphone jack with Hi Fi DAC built in.

    Great phone. Wish LG made the bootloader unlockable though. They only do it in EU due to local regulations. Leaves a bad taste. But for normal users its fine.

    I was a bit disappointed with the camera, I went from G4 to G6 and think G4 is better

      It has been out long enough for the reports to start flooding in - and they haven't. I guess we should be noting that Samsungs are a possible fire risk…

      I still reckon the V20 has better specs, but water resistance is a better swap for the better microphones and reportedly better battery [ in manual mode] for many.

    Although here is no mention of the DAC on the HN site, it is the DS model which LG report as having it - JB Hi-Fi are selling the "K" model which does not have the DAC for those comparing the price or thinking of trying a price match.

        The Marion store rep said their's didn't have the DAC when I asked about it, so it may be possible that as a Telstra reseller, they may have some sourced from there. Thanks for the info tho, it'd probably pay to ask. The JB I was at only had a dummy display phone, so I wasn't able to test.
        I had noted that Telstra only had the 64GB Pixel 2 as well. I hope we are not becoming a "low value" market:-/

          The model online is dual sim the k is single sim. AFAIK the dual sim has dac, single sim hasn’t.

        Yeah same. I keep wanting to buy a switch but can’t justify it cuz I have so many toys and have big exams in February so no time really. Problem is, ozbargainer in me can’t let it go to waste!

        Only other stuff we need is overpriced and never on sale at Harvey Norman (furniture).

    Make sure the wideangle lens has 2.01 or 2.00 focal lenght otherwise you will end up with a G6 that has a Fkedup blurry wideangle lens

    Thanks OP. Free delivery through Shipster and got it today, managed to used the AMEX offer just before it expired, $518 for this phone is awesome!
