  • so these headphones can only be used with a phone??

    • any phone with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Unfortunately, a dying breed.

you can use it with pretty much any device that supports 3.5 mm jack.

      • cheers. was thinking for my laptop

picked up a set boxing day.. there were heaps of them (I'm guessing old stock?) the boxes were covered in dust lol.. they are ok for this price (I wouldn't pay full price for them) they are not the loudest and the cable is wire thin

Loads of adapters around to convert 3.5mm to USB, probably even 3.5mm to BT if you look hard enough. Link is to a 3.5mm to USB on eBay, $1.

  • Just giving some later feedback for anyone interested.

I just bought these because, although I'm a bit of a audio snob, I needed a cheaper pair of headphones to use casually when I'm not at the desktop with my mixers and amps. They are just ok. Honestly even at $89 I wouldn't probably have bought them if I knew the cans had such little volume. The in ear xiaomi headphones that are always on sale have more volume. The audio quality is also just ok, doesn't perform particularly well for any type of music but didn't expect much looking at can details. The cable is also very thin although that doesn't bother me. I've owned a lot of mid range headphones and a heap of cheapies as well, these were disappointing for me as someone who praises sennheiser for their quality and decent value for $.

Although they are still very well priced (AT $89) for over ear headphones and comfortable enough to wear during commutes and such (minus the sweat that the fake leather always accumulates in seconds in our Australian weather), I would personally not recommend these for anyone hoping to get more than what they pay for. I made a quick uninformed purchase and was underwhelmed, especially by the lack of decent volume.
