I bought one to replace a similar size LG side by side in recent HN Amex deals.

Love it! Would definitely buy again.

      This is a great price.

Bought one about this time last year and paid more for it. Bang for buck, quality, style and 3 year standard warranty I still rave about it. Great fridge.

Just chiming in to say I have this too after a Samsung fked up. Good fridge, water dispenser is handy :)

    • I got one delivered today from Harvey Norman. Speaking of the water dispenser, should there be an extra plug/cap that attaches to the lid inside the fridge?

      • +1

Yeah on the top of the dispenser? There's a twist cap

Checked in the trays etc to make sure it's not there somewhere?

        • Thanks. Figured it was missing a part. Have checked all the packaging etc again, no twist cap to be found.

Thanks OP, finally replacing a F&P that's been faulty for at least 5 years.

  • Only has a 2.5 Star Energy Rating

  • sold out everywhere, couldnt pick up . only available with delivery order and extra %50

Oddly enough, I got a call from the local TGG within 30 minutes asking if I wanted it delivered tomorrow. I asked whether I could pick it up from the local, (steep driveway, no way a delivery truck will be able to get up it), but she said I'd already paid for delivery and she couldn't refund it.

So even though it said sold out everywhere, it looks like it's going to be dispatched from my local TGG anyway.

      +1 for the quick delivery
-1 for not giving me the option to pick it up from a store even after I said they can keep the delivery fee.

  • I bought one on black Friday took 3 weeks to get delivered (17 Dec). They said they had none in stock and were waiting to get one delivered to store. Fridge it good for the price.

  • Anyone had any luck price matching with HN? Currently $798 in their catalogue.

  • keen to purchase this, but want to use gift cards. Called up goodguys and they said it wasn't possible to use them on ebay. Anyone know how I can make this happen to get the ebay discount though? Can you buy it from ebay, get a refund from goodguys then process the sale again via gift cards? Thanks!

    • then process the sale again via gift cards?

Yeh, at tgg's advertised shelf price.

      • Ok darn :( thanks!

  • Just got this e-mail from the Good Guys:

"The Web Order you placed with us online is unfortunately not in stock.
It has been ordered and you will receive a phone call or email as soon as it arrives."

Will be interesting to see how long it takes to arrive….

OK, continuing the saga, yesterday received another call from the Chirnside Park TGG saying that TGG have none in stock and they'll ring the Hisense warehouse the next day to order.

Today, TGG ring back and say Hisense have 1100 units on backorder for delivery on January 23rd but there's no guarantee that mine will be one of the orders fulfilled … however the Chirnside store did have a single floor demo unit I could have.

So went and had a look at the condition and apart from some surface scuffs it's OK … decided not to get it though since to install in the kitchen would require some renovation work.

Ended up getting a refund and grabbing an LG floor demo unit that was cheaper, more efficient, and would fit the space.

So, currently, no TGG seems to have stock, (apart from demo units), until the Hisense backorder comes in around the end of the month.

  • Mine was subject to the backorder, not that they made any effort to inform me. I only found out after I waiting 2 weeks without any communication.

Contacted their eBay, who told me to call my local store as it would come from them. Called local store who said they had no news hence why I hadn't heard anything (they should still have told me that) and said to wait. I went into store to purchase the Whirlpool washing machine and asked about the fridge. Salesperson told me there is a 6 week back order but they are getting some in the warehouse and he would request I get one. Didn't hear anything for a few days so I contacted eBay again and this time they contacted the local store. That same day I got a message about organizing delivery.

So all in all it took 3-4 weeks, which wasn't too bad I guess, it's just the fact they didn't preemptively inform me of the delay which was annoying. Fridge is massive in its box haha, taking up a bit of room in the rents dining room atm.

  • Hi All, got my fridge delivered yesterday. It didn't come with any manuals. Nor did it come with the screws needed to fix the plastic thing at the bottom of the fridge. Can someone else confirm if this is a standard for Hisense?

    • +1

Mine came with everything you mentioned. Mat be check all the side shelves in the Fridge section. As mine was in a transparent bag, attached in one of the tray
