    They used to recommend 2ft/600mm over your gutter. Which the 22ft (approx. 6.5m) extension ladder was usually sold for. My shop ceiling is 2mtrs so i don't keep large ones any more in store lol.

    Many different types and models now. Fiberglass is usually safer but costs a lot more.

    It's not easy to find such a ladder. You need at least 5m long. That length of ladder won't be easy to transport without a roof rack, unless you can find a triple extension ladder that long, or a ladder that folds in three places.
