Wow this is the first time I realised Bing Lee was in VIC!

    • +1

      Wodonga barely counts as Victoria.

      • Yea I know, but it is VIC nevertheless, but, pretty far for most!

        • Melbourne warehouse

          Dandenong South.

          Didn't you see that one?

        • @vinni9284:
          Lol, that's still far

        • @googolplex:

Lol. OK. I guess if they have that in stock and it fits into your car then you have to factor is it worth the $188 savings logistically rather than purchase from JB Hifi/HN etc?
I bought one the other day and still loving it!

          :-)

  • +2

    Ended?

    ….invalid quantity

    • Seems so for Vic warehouse.

    • Try changing your postcode?

This listing doesn't work, been the same way all day

    Hi Jase.
I picked-up one from the Good Guys deal (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/351584), thanks to doweyy's heads-up.

I went into the local GG store to compare it to a Samsung Q7 55" and the staff couldn't believe the extra 10% off their already low $1,888 special price - they reckon they couldn't match it. So I went home and clicked on the $1,699.20 from the GG's eBay. Picked it up from the Belco store yesterday.

Am overall very happy with my choice. After all, ya gotta love a TV that has 'Cricket' as an option in both the Picture and the Sound setups. Guess what I'm watching now :-)

    Cheers, MM

      Guess what I'm watching now

      Tennis?

      • Cricket

        • p0rn?

        • @31mop: all of the above - you can pretty well watch anything you want with a smart TV (as long as you have access to huge/unlimited data and fast internet access) :)

@MicMac: At the same time????? You have weird taste in pornos

Tried to click and collect this from Bing Lee with a NSW address for the past two days and no dice. Still not working for me.

    • Does it allow you to go all the way to the payment screen?

      • +1

I can pay for it if I choose "Buy It Now", but it fails after the payment step and stays in my ebay summary for a bit then disappears.

        • Ok cheers. May need to remove this post as it's invalid!!

        • @Jase2801: not sure what the problem is. I spent a few hours last night trying to get through to paying. I get to the buy it now screen, tried paying via PayPal and kept getting eBay errors. Tried on different devices and with different eBay accounts, PayPal accounts and even paying by credit card. Whatever I did, the transaction would not get through. Today I'm getting less progress than yesterday, and now shows that there's no stock available.

        • Ok so they just added shipping now and 13 sold. So it may work now.

        • @Jase2801: yeah it seems so. Click and collect still glitchy. Glitches after trying to pay with PayPal even when showing stock at stores I want. Still can't purchase it with click and collect.

        • +1

@dgs: Right thanks. Just sent them a message to see if they can fix it :)

        • +1

@Jase2801: thanks mate. Pretty much begging them to take my money.

        • +1

@dgs: can confirm click and collect still doesn't work.

        • @dgs: You are not alone I'm sure. Great price for this TV. Hope they fix it soon :(

        • @Jase2801: still seems like there's no fix. And I got negged for saying that eBay wasn't working

        • @dgs:

Have you tried a different browser? Firefox, Chrome etc?

          Try that

        • @vinni9284: chrome, safari on phone, chrome and Firefox on pc.

        • @vinni9284: also got a few mates to try it out. Seems like it only worked for delivery in our area? (Inner West Sydney) no Click and collect.

PEBKAC does not warrant a neg vote

      • -1

Ain't a pebkac issue mate. Several others have had the same issue. Seems to be an issue with eBay. Tried on several devices and several accounts. Just because the purchase has worked with you (which I assume is the only reason you've made this comment), doesn't mean the issue doesn't truly exist.

  • +1

IF only this listing would work, I'd cancel my GG order and buy it here. All stores around me have stock.

  • All you guys know if this would this fit on a mazda 3 sedan?

    • With a box, most likely. Without the box, definitely. I've driven around 55" TVs in a Camry/Corolla before. 65" is where you might need a bigger car or have to get creative.

      • great to hear, thanks

        • I got the 55" into the back of my civic hatch (prior gen) with the box so you may be able to squeeze it in a sedan

      • Are you laying it flat to get it in? Because you aren't meant to.

        • No, just put it standing up on the back seats.

        • Thought about this too until the part when you have to install the stand and the manual actually shows you need to lay it flat to screw in the stand.

    • Apparently the boxed TV has to be transported upright. So laying it flat to fit into a hatch/wagon or on roof racks is a no-no

      • I didn’t, they told me what side to have facing up when transporting flat though.

dont know if i should pull the trigger now or wait for TGG or Binglee when they do their 20% off sometime next year, And it should bring the price down a little bit more

    • +1

Well I'm waiting for the 20% off in true ozbargain spirit

  • Pick-up seem to be delayed to 3rd Jan now, waiting for stock to come in?

  • Seems to be working now.

Yer, pick up jan 3 for my local store.

    • Lucky. I'm still getting glitches galore.

      • yep, tried couple of times, no luck, this is pretty annoying

  • +1

Tried to pay and getting an error, can see in my Ebay that payment is pending, but then when I check order, it leads to an error !!

  • Is this the Aussie version of the OLED55B7Z? as listed here? http://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/lg-b7

  • i notice the b7 tv stand has 2 variations

    http://www.lg.com/pa_en/tvs/lg-OLED55B7T

    and this

    http://www.lg.com/au/tvs/lg-OLED55B7T

i prefer the first one but the aust stocks are the second variation

    • +1

I heard in one review they couldn't get the tv to be entirely level with the moon-stand, so we are probably better off!

  • +1

Finally pulled the trigger! Thanks OP.

  • +1

All gone. Was deliberating with my wife on whether to buy - so lame.

  • Better to buy the C7 model instead, expecting to drop below 2k soon.

    • +2

The C7 has been replaced by the B7 as advised by GG staff on Boxing Day.
There are some C7's still for sale however they are still going for $2.5K even with the discount applied on eBay.
If you looking for the C7, personally I would wait a little more for the C8.
Now Sony and Panasonic are starting to go into OLED as well, then they all will be more competitive.
Although LG has been in the OLED TV game for longer, when the ELQD display starts to be released, then it will be a different ball game!
      Cheers

Buyer beware. After a period if time LG OLEDs may experience burn in issues. Just google it.
