    Does this suit 86? Also did you make the plug and play harness in house?

    I own this unit, kinda like it, but there is lots of missed potential in it.
    The AIR Gesture is a bit of a wank, and the only thing that this has over the DDX9017DABS
    On the other hand the DDX9017DABS had DAB+, but will need an adapter to fit in Subaru/Toyota dash boards.
    The DAB+ antenna is also separate to the FM broadcast antenna, and sticks to the inside of the windscreen, can be a dealbreaker if you don't want to stick things.

    Quite a powerful unit, but very limited options for customization etc..
    Inbuilt compass tells North / South / East / West, if you're going to code that into the firmware then why not give us a full blown compass?
    Chromecast also would have been nice.
    Would love to see flagship car head units come with more capabilities.

    I'm dealing with mine in Android auto a lot of the time, pretty good setup.

      Not quite. They’re basically the same model, but the 9017 is double din as opposed to Toyota specific.

        Oh I wasn't aware this bad boy was Toyota specific. I have the DDX9017DABS, it's a fantastic unit :)
