take a look at the HD 58X mate.A 3+ month wait is still a long wait that many people won't be willing to do, regardless of how long other products take to arrive.

I have HD 598, worth to upgrade?i have the HD598s at the moment, and my HD6XXs arrived today (haven't listened to them yet). i'd say it definitely depends - if you like the characteristics of your 598s, can reasonable afford the upgrade, and would like to basically the experience the next step up, then I think the massdrop price is worth it. you'll probably need an amp to drive these though as they're 300 ohm. if i get the chance i'll let you know what I think of these compared to my 598s.

When I put on the 598, its so much better than HD439 worth the 3 times price. I was all laughing.

I'm waiting for a deal on 598. But no deal has been forthcoming for months now. I'm getting impatient. Should I stop waiting for that and get this instead? I really don't want to buy both.
