  calypso and kensington are the cheap mangoes at coles ( melbourne) at the moment but the ones i found were much smaller than a month ago, hence reason for cheap price rather than over supply.

    They taste like crap and never ripen properly.

    Same with the peaches and nectarines.

        Not all that fussed with the texture but they have no flavour, strawberries and tomatoes are particularly bad.

        I'm struggling to remember the last time I bought some nice tasting fruit from Coles/Woolies/Aldi.

        The only exception are bananas, but give them time and I'm sure they'll mess them up as well.
